More WWE releases have been confirmed.
Penina Tuilaepa, who had been assigned to the Evolve brand under the name PJ Vasa, confirmed on Twitter that she has departed the company. In her statement, Vasa thanked the company for opening the doors for her to get into the pro wrestling world and said that she is looking forward to more motion:

PJ Vasa is a rugby player turned wrestler. She has been part of all three seasons of WWE LFG, coming close to winning the second season. She ended up as the runner-up of the season instead, finishing behind the eventual winner Skylar Rae. Vasa also made an appearance on WWE Main Event last year, losing a singles match to Ivy Nile.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select confirmed a number of other names who were released today, all under various WWE development deals. This includes former Evolve Women’s Champion Wendy Choo. Below is the full list of talents confirmed to have been released:

The WWE releases started on Friday with Jasper Troy. Troy also made his name through WWE LFG, becoming the winner of the first season by beating Shiloh Hill.
