WWE made edits to the Bron Breakker segment themselves.
The Vision star suffered a nasty cut on the head towards the ending of his Night of Champions match with Seth Rollins. Fans noted on social media after the event that edits were made to parts of the match, so the replay on Netflix did not show the bloody injury of Breakker in as much detail.
A lot of people assumed that the edits were made by the streaming giant, but it doesn’t appear to be the case. According to an update from PWInsider, the changes, which include cutting away to a crowd shot to avoid showing Breakker’s bloody head during a kick out spot, were made by WWE themselves:
The edits to Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins on the Netflix replay of Night of Champions were done by WWE themselves as not only is Breakker’s bloody face blurred at times but some camera angles used during the live broadcast have since been replaced with alternate ones to hide him.
The report also noted that the promotion replaced the ‘Holy Shit’ chants from the crowd with ‘This is Awesome’ chants after Rollins put Breakker through a table with a superplex as well.
