A top WWE legend is in the final leg of his wrestling career, but he’s still open to one last run as a World Champion.

He is none other than the WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. The Master of the 619 was a guest for an interview with MuscleManMalcolm. When asked if he had another World title run left in him, Mysterio replied in the affirmative and said that the opportunity just needed to present itself and he would take advantage of it.

You never know. Never say never. I think I’ve proven myself to still be able to compete, whoever they put in front of me. So I’m down to have another title run. Just put it in front of me and I’ll take advantage of it. Trust me.

Rey Mysterio defied the odds and won his first-ever World Championship at WrestleMania 22. He defeated Randy Orton and Kurt Angle at the show, which was one of the biggest moments of his wrestling career. At the Fatal 4-Way 2010 PPV, Mysterio captured his second World title.

The last time Mysterio held a World Championship was back in 2011. After CM Punk left the WWE with the WWE Championship, Mysterio defeated The Miz in the tournament finals to become the new champion. However, he dropped the title to John Cena that same night.

The Biggest Little Man is currently serving as an onscreen in-ring talent on RAW and AAA General Manager. With Rey Mysterio still an active competitor, it will be interesting to see if an opportunity to have a World title run does present itself in front of him.
