SEScoops has learned which WWE Superstars will appear at the company’s Hawaii talent tryout, and two of the biggest names from the earlier promotion are not among them. Bayley, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Jacob Fatu and Liv Morgan are among the names on the updated tryout graphic.
The Rock and Roman Reigns are missing. When WWE replaced its original tryout artwork on August 25, it put The Rock in the center of the graphic, flanked by Reigns and The Usos. The new version keeps Jimmy, Jey and Fatu and drops both of them.
The tryout takes place at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu ahead of WWE’s back-to-back live events on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. Those are the company’s first shows in Hawaii since September 2019. Prospects will perform in front of WWE recruiters, coaches and executives. WWE added the second Honolulu night after the first nearly sold out.
Bayley Back On Tryout Duty
Bayley’s spot is the eye-catcher. In July, she was dropped from WWE’s SummerSlam Prospect Tryout VIP Experience. The OnLocation listing swapped her out for Ivy Nile while questions swirled about her contract status. She has since returned to Raw and is now one of the featured faces on the Hawaii push.
The Polynesian connection is still the selling point. Triple H told Hawaii News Now that the islands hold a rich heritage for WWE, pointing to The Rock and his grandfather Peter Maivia. He said the company would be searching for its next star while in town. “The biggest thing we look for is charisma,” he said.
The camp builds on WWE’s recruiting booth at the Hawaii Fit Expo in June. Triple H has also said the Hawaii return won’t be a one-off for the company.
