Sami Zayn (c) vs. Cody Rhodes (Undisputed WWE Championship Match)
Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Championship for the first time at Night of Champions, defeating Rhodes and Gunther in a triple threat. Rhodes punched his ticket to a rematch by beating Jey Uso this past Friday on SmackDown, and he gets his shot just days after coming up short in Riyadh.
The Street Profits (c) vs. The Vision (WWE World Tag Team Championship Match)
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins won the World Tag Team Titles in London last month. Bron Breakker and Austin Theory get their rematch this week after Theory struck a deal with GM Adam Pearce for another crack at the belts.
CM Punk’s Status in Chicago
Punk has been advertised for Monday’s show in his hometown, and WWE has not pulled him from the promotion despite his prolonged absence from television since April. Specific plans for his appearance have not been fully announced as of Monday morning.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins Ahead of SummerSlam
Reigns and Rollins are officially set to collide at SummerSlam for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Rollins has already been vocal about where he thinks the advantage lies. Both men are expected around Raw as the rivalry continues to build toward August.
