WWE SummerSlam 2026 kicks off tonight (Saturday, August 1, live) from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the first of two nights built around seven championship and grudge matches.
SummerSlam has a 6 PM ET start time. The show streams on ESPN Unlimited in the United States, marking WWE’s first SummerSlam on the platform, and on Netflix for international viewers.
Programming Note: Neither WWE nor ESPN has announced any free opening matches for SummerSlam. Unlike earlier 2026 PLEs, there will be no first-hour free on linear ESPN. The entire show is exclusive to the ESPN App in the US.

The Undisputed WWE Championship headlines the card, with CM Punk defending against Cody Rhodes, who met face to face on the go-home episode of SmackDown.
Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi collide in a Hell in a Cell match, and Liv Morgan puts the WWE Women’s World Championship on the line against IYO SKY.
Nick Aldis faces Gunther, and Paige teams with Brie Bella and Nikki Bella against Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and Lainey Reid. LA Knight, Royce Keys and Solo Sikoa round out the card against The Usos and Jacob Fatu.
SummerSlam continues tomorrow (Sunday, August 2), with Night 2 headlined by Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins.
