Xia Brookside Reacts to Knockouts Title Loss: “Most Fun I’ve Ever Had”

Hours after dropping the TNA Knockouts World Championship to Indi Hartwell at Bound For Glory 2026, Xia Brookside offered a reflective and forward-looking response on social media.

Brookside’s first reign as Knockouts World Champion ended after 105 days. She had captured the title at Slammiversary by defeating former tag partner Lei Ying Lee with her Darkside finisher and defended it multiple times, including a steel-cage win over Elayna Black at Lockdown. At Bound For Glory in Tampa, with Mickie James as special referee, Hartwell defeated her following a sequence that included referee drama, an exposed turnbuckle, and Hartwell’s Hurts Donut finisher.

In her post, Brookside thanked TNA “for bringing out DarkSide, believing in me, pushing me and elevating me.” She wrote that her title run “was the most fun I’ve ever had in wrestling” and added, “I’m definitely not done! I can’t wait for what’s next!” Photos accompanying the message showed her in the dark, hooded entrance attire associated with the character, with Bound For Glory branding visible.

Brookside, a second-generation wrestler and daughter of Robbie Brookside, turned heel earlier in 2026 and leaned into the edgier persona during her championship run. Her comments frame the loss as the close of a positive chapter rather than a setback, while signaling continued interest in high-profile opportunities with the company.
