WWE Mentions AEW While Hyping Street Profits RAW Debut (Photo)

Someone in WWE’s social media department made an error in the caption of a photo that was posted on their official Instagram account.

WWE posted a photo of NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits while backstage at Monday’s RAW TV event. The team cut a promo on the show introducing themselves to the WWE Universe.

WWE’s Instagram covered the debut, but inadvertently mentioned rival upstars promotion All Elite Wrestling. Instead of writing the NXT tag team champions are on Raw, the caption read, “The NXT Tag Team Champions AEW at Raw!”

AEW star Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks tweeted the following shortly after the typo:

The Street Profits

At the WWE NXT TakeOver: XXV event in Bridgeport, CT at the Webster Bank Arena, Street Profits beat The Forgotten Sons, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch, and Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish to win the NXT Tag Team Titles in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match.

Last week there was some talk among fans about EVOLVE Wrestling celebrating their 10th Anniversary by holding a show on July 13th at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network, will air the event at 8 PM ET that night.

It turns out that AEW holds their Fight for the Fallen event on the same night at the same time from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
