Jeff Jarrett Works First WWE RAW Match Since 1999

WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett worked his first match on the flagship show of the company, Monday Night RAW, since 1999.

Jarrett was back in action as he shared the squared circle under the WWE banner on this week’s show in Portland, OR on the USA Network as he battled it out with Elias in a singles match with Road Dog at ringside. Elias ended up winning the match.

This comes after Jarrett worked the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and then last week on RAW, had a scuffle with Elias in the ring after a promo exchange.

The last match on RAW that he worked prior to this contest came back on the September 27th edition where he teamed up with Tom Prichard to lose to Debra and Chyna.

Before signing with WCW, Jarrett worked the last match of that run with WWE at the No Mercy pay-per-view event at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio where he lost the Intercontinental Title to Chyna in a Good Housekeeping.

As noted, Jarrett is now in a new role with the company as he’s signed a contract that will see him work behind-the-scenes as a producer. This comes after WWE made a series of new hires for new producers including former Impact Wrestling stars Abyss and Sonjay Dutt as well as former WWE star Shane Helms.
