Enzo Amore Reveals Reason For Real Life Heat With Big Cass

28

Enzo Amore had claimed that he is not on talking terms with former Tag Team Partner Big Cass during an interview with Corey Graves on WWE Network.

During his latest appearance on Store Horseman podcast, Enzo who now goes by the name Real1 gave an update on the situation and revealed the reason for his heat with Big Cass.

According to him, the Brooklyn Street Fight between the two was expected to involve an angle where Amore would hit his former partner with a chair and Enzo was considering it to be the payoff for the beatings he took from the hands of Cass.

However, Big Cass ended up tearing his ACL just before the planned spot, forcing it to be scrapped and according to the former Cruiserweight Champion; this is the reason for his anger and he can never forgive Cass for it:

“It was the first time in my life in wrestling where I ever went, ‘bro. I can’t forgive you for this.’ Like, I’ve let people kill me for the past five years. I’ve taken the heat in every one of our matches, every f–kin bump. And I get this chair in my hand, and you’re standing up, and you can’t take a chair shot?”

During the interview, Real1 also explained how other legends in the industry worked matches through injuries implying that the former NXT Star should have done the same.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass broke up their team in June last year and the two then feuded for a couple of months. Their Brooklyn Street Fight during the Raw episode following SummerSlam in August was apparently expected to be the final bout of their rivalry.

The match, however, ended in a disqualification after Cass suffered the injury and was not able to complete the bout. Enzo was then moved to 205 Live.

Apart from this, Enzo Amore also talked about possible in ring return, Neville being the ‘best guy ever’ and more. You can check out his full interview here. The mentioned spot can be seen in the video below:

Eric Bischoff On Possibly Returning To WWE TV As An Authority Figure

6

Eric Bischoff worked for WWE as the General Manager of Raw for a long time and he was an on-screen authority figure for the company for almost 3 years.

Since Bischoff has continued his involvement with Pro Wrestling with his 83 Weeks podcast, many wonder if the former WCW President could return to WWE TV with a similar role somewhere down the line.

However, some recent comments from Eric made during an interview with Chris Van Vliet make it seem like the former Raw General Manager is not very optimistic about a long-term WWE return.

During the interview, he was asked about possibly returning to WWE for a regular on-screen role such as the General Manager and replying to it, Bischoff claimed that the ship has sailed:

“No. I think that that ship has sailed, brother. There might be (a massive pop) for a night or two but I’ve kind of been there and done that. With a character like a General Manager there’s only so much you could do creatively.”

Continuing on the topic, the former WCW Star explained how a General Manager’s role in a wrestling show is limited and you are trying to figure out new ways to do the same 15-20 things over and over again.

Cody Rhodes Reveals His Controversial Top 5 Current Pro Wrestlers

5

Cody Rhodes has been making headlines ever since he started his indie career and he has been a topic of discussion among fans lately.

Some believe that the NJPW Star has achieved everything on his own while there are others who think that the former Legacy Member has been handed over things he is not qualified for.

Now during a recent interaction with Sports Illustrated, the former ROH World Champion has done something which is destined to divide fans once again.

During the interview, Cody was asked about his top 5 professional wrestlers of the current time and the former WWE star started the list with himself:

“In the modern era of reality is reality versus perception is reality, it’s simple. I am the best in the world. It’s 1: Cody; 2: Kenny; 3: Okada; 4: Charlotte; 5: Cena, with Ospreay creeping up on the list.

Continuing on the topic, Rhodes explained how it’s his responsibility to live up to this ranking and claimed that he is unbelievably good at this because of hard work and dedication.

Whether Cody actually believes in these rankings or he is just trying to work people is debatable but one thing is for sure that this top 5 list will become a matter of discussion among wrestling fans soon.

Bella Twins’ Brother JJ On If He Thinks Daniel Bryan Will Fight In The UFC

7

The Bella Twins’ brother, JJ, and his wife, Loren, recently joined the Total Bellas Aftershow to offer their thoughts on Nikki Bella and John Cena’s relationship, as well as whether or not they think Daniel Bryan would ever fight in the UFC. JJ first commented on the rumors going around that Cena and Nikki’s breakup was staged:

“Honestly, my sister asked us not to say anything. Even though we do put our lives out there in the public, my sister is a very private person. And she loves John and what they are going through they want it between them.

“Even with how public John is, John is super private. The one thing I can tell you for a fact is that it wasn’t for the ratings or for the show at all. It actually threw the show for a loop.”

JJ then offered his thoughts on if he thinks Cena is ready to be a father:

“I definitely think he is ready for kids. When I met Loren .. things changed. I’m not the same person I was before Loren. We change as a person, especially for the person you love. There was one thing for him. John loves Vivienne and he loves Birdie.

“He has a blast with them and even my cousin’s kids he has blast with. I think it (being around kids) definitely changed for him. Once you have a kid, it’s a totally different love you will ever experience. And I think his eyes got open to that and he wants that.”

Recently JJ’s brother-in-law, WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan, noted that he thinks he could beat CM Punk’s latest UFC opponent, Mike Jackson, on the ground if WWE granted him the opportunity to do so:

“I could beat him on the ground for sure. If WWE would let me fight in UFC, maybe.”

JJ said he doesn’t believe Bryan would ever fight in the UFC, as it just isn’t “in his blood”:

“Daniel wouldn’t fight in UFC, it’s not in his blood. He is a technical guy. Bryan is not the ground and pound, want to beat someone up guy… that mentality that you probably need to have for UFC.

“He is a technical guy and probably one of the best wrestlers of all time technically, and that’s what he really enjoys. He never will get into it. I know that for a fact. He loves UFC by the way. He loves watching it.”

Zeda On If She’ll Continue Wrestling After WWE Release

1

After being released by WWE earlier this month, former NXT star Zeda did an interview on The Roman Show to talk about her time with the company. Zeda first commented on whether or not she’ll be back for this year’s Mae Young Classic tournament:

“I have no idea if I’ll be in the Mae Young Classic. I hope I am in it. It would be awesome. In the indies I am wiling to wrestle anyone because I want to get out there because I’ve really been exposed only to NXT for the most part at least here in Florida. Of course, I want to wrestle [another WWE MYC competitor], Renee Michelle.”

Zeda then commented on what a great experience it was working the Mae Young Classic last year:

“It was a great experience, very different. Before I went to NXT it was like I had some indie wrestling friends and I saw some shows here and there, but not a lot. Going in there it’s like learning how everything is done and then coming [to the WWE MYC] I’m like, wow, they’re more for TV and more detailed because they have to be.”

As for whether or not she’d return to mixed martial arts (MMA) or continue her professional wrestling career, Zeda seems dead set on continuing professional wrestling after already having spent a decade doing MMA:

“No, I want to focus my time in wrestling. I’ve spent ten years in MMA. After doing all that, doing MMA, and the entertainment industry, like singing and dance. I was always torn between the two. I was like ‘Should I chase the MMA career or acting/modeling career?’ Afterwards, when I realized there was [wrestling], this was more fitting for me and I really want to explore this route.”

Jim Ross Reveals What Big Cass Needs To Work On To Be A Star

11

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently took to his podcast, The Ross Report, to talk about several professional wrestling topics. One such topic were his thoughts on SmackDown Live star Big Cass. Ross noted that he’s a fan of Cass and explained why his size, standing at seven-feet-tall, is such a big deal:

“I like Cass.” Ross added, “look, he’s seven feet tall, folks! You can’t teach that! I actually said that in a meeting one time at the [WWE] Performance Center in Orlando [Florida], in a meeting. I’ll tell that story one of these days, but it’s a good deal. And you can’t teach that. And the WWE has always coveted size because every great promoter knows that people get their heads turned by size.

“Why in the hell else would a fat lady in a circus sell a ticket? Because of her size and freakishness. So he’s seven feet and he’s being provided valuable TV time, folks. No doubt. You know what I say, you’d better damn sure maximize your minutes, so what this kid [has] got to do in my opinion is to continue to be aggressive.

“I don’t need a seven-footer on the roster who’s a finesse guy, a style guy. Like I said, I don’t need… I can use the basketball analogy because basketball’s ongoing. I need a [power forward] of a [center] from Big Cass, not a [shooting guard].”

Good Ole’ JR noted that if Cass wants to be a major player in WWE that he needs to work on his promo skills and address some holes he has in his game:

“I need physicality, but he also needs work on his delivery,” Ross admitted. “That’s out of the ring practice. In your car, at home, in front of a mirror, wherever you are, make sure that you are seeing what you’re saying. Look at your face when you say these things. And I think he needs to work on his promos sounding a little more organic, not memorized.

“And sometimes, because you have to memorize them by and large, it’s hard to not sound memorized. So you don’t want it to sound like a script, by the way. But I’ll tell you, being seven feet tall is an asset for him. He [has] got a great look. I have confidence that he’ll be a star, but he [has] got to fill some holes in his game and that’s a daily effort, daily plan.

“And I don’t know the kid well enough to say what his daily plan is or what they’re doing with him behind-the-scenes to work on some of these issues, but, again, you can’t teach that. He’s seven feet tall. He’s young and a good looking kid.”

WWE Doctor Chris Amaan Had Relationship With Former Divas Champ, WWE Issues Statement

11

The week before the libel & slander case against former WWE Champion CM Punk and Colt Cabana by WWE Doctor Chris Amaan, Amaan filed for several motions to make sure that some issues weren’t brought up during the trial in front of the jury.

According to a report from Deadspin, one of those issues was a relationship Amaan had with former WWE Divas Champion Jillian Hall. There were some motions that were sealed away and the only people who saw them were those involved with the case, however, others were available at the Cook County Courts at Daley Center in Chicago on computer terminals in the clerk’s office.

One of those motions argued that during the trial the defense couldn’t mention Amann’s romantic and sexual relations with Hall and another indy wrestler (who remains unnamed) he met while she unsuccessfully tried out for WWE twice.

None of this was brought up during the trial, meaning that the motion was successful. There were also some excerpts from depositions before the trial began, which included Amann answering “yes” to questions such as if he had “any relationship with [Hall] while she was a performer,” if they were “more than friends,” if they had “a sexual relationship,” and if they had “a romantic relationship.”

Two more depositions also mentioned Amann’s relationship with Hall. A friend of Punk and Cabana’s, also a former WWE Superstar, Cliff Compton, testified about a conversation he and with Hall (when he wasn’t working for WWE) who told him about the relationship. CM Punk’s sister, Chaleen Rumpf, also noted that both Punk and Compton had told her about “unethical things that the doctors were doing” in the WWE such as “the doctor is sleeping with, you know, some of the wrestlers.”

Deadspin contacted Hall about the matter and she confirmed that she had a romantic relationship with Amaan when he was working as the traveling doctor for the RAW brand. Amaan and his legal team did not respond for comment on the matter. A spokesperson for WWE did, however, issue out this statement on the situation:

“We were not aware of this. We are investigating the matter and will determine if any action is warranted.”

A source who worked on the RAW brand while Amaan and Hall were together noted to Deadspin that neither attempted to hide their relationship.

WWE 2K19 Cover Star & Pre-Order Bonus Character Revealed

34

This coming Monday, 2K will formally announce the cover star for this year’s WWE 2K19 video game. A “Virtual Press Conference” will be streamed online at 11:00am EST / 8am PST via WWE.2K.com and the WWE 2K social media channels.

Fans have been buzzing about who will get the honor this year, with guesses ranging from Roman Reigns to Jinder Mahal. Ahead of the big announcement, Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that a 2K19 commercial was filmed this week in Memphis and reigning WWE Champion AJ Styles will be the cover star of WWE 2K19.

Each year, there is also a big name featured as a special downloadable character for players who pre-order the game. With recent pre-order bonus stars including Kurt Angle and Goldberg, this year’s bonus character will be Ronda Rousey.

Both Styles and Rousey were on hand this week when 2K filmed, along with several other Superstars, including Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio Jr. Mysterio is not currently under contract with WWE, but made several one-off appearances for the company this year – including the Royal Rumble and the Greatest Royal Rumble event from Saudi Arabia.

Although the release date has not been announced yet beyond ‘Fall 2018’, last year’s installment dropped on October 17th, so expect a similar time frame for WWE 2K19.

Natalya On Which RAW Star Brings The Best Out Of Her Opponents

1

WWE Superstar Natalya recently spoke to Sun Sport to promote the new Then, Now, Forever: The Evolution of WWE’s Women’s Division WWE DVD. The Queen Of Harts talked about several professional wrestling topics, the first of those being how impressed she has been with former RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

Natalya has been impressed with The Boss’ in-ring work and says she brings out the best of her opponents inside the ring:

“I like it when people say that about me – we all want to be in great matches. It’s a great aspiration to have. You want to be that girl or guy who can have that great match with anyone. I’ve been working with Sasha Banks a lot on Raw and I see that in her too. I was so impressed with her in that Fatal 4-Way. Whether it’s Sasha against Charlotte, Sasha against Bayley… it’s just every girl I see in there with Sasha. She brings out the best in her opponents.”

She then revealed that she believes the moment she realized Triple H believed in her was when he entrusted her in working with rising star Charlotte Flair:

“I never knew how much Triple H believed in me until that moment. He knew I was the right person to elevate Charlotte and give her this moment. I think Triple H saw similarities in me and Charlotte. We both come from wrestling backgrounds. Charlotte had those same shoes to fill and family expectations. We didn’t even have a time limit. Triple said, ‘Just go in there and tear the house down.’

“It was my first time in my WWE career that I was just allowed to be me – to go in there and just do my thing and have complete control. It was such a special moment for me. That match sparked this surge of more incredible women’s matches in NXT. Then the girls on the main roster wanted those matches too. It was this crazy collaboration of the universe coming together – the fans, WWE management, and the girls all being on board and saying, ‘We need this.'”

WWE Adds One Of Kenny Omega’s Matches To The WWE Network

We’ve recently noted that WWE has been mentioning IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega quite a bit recently to promote The New Day vs. The Elite (Omega and The Young Bucks) at E3 in a Street Fighter V video game tournament.

It seems like WWE is taking things a step further, adding an old WWE match of Omega’s to their Network. Omega was signed to a developmental deal with WWE several years back in the early stages of his career.

WWE has added Kenny Omega vs. Cru Jones from Deep South Wrestling in 2006 to the WWE Network. It’s under the “Hidden Gems” collection on the application. WWE’s YouTube channel posted the following preview:

Triple H On If WWE Is Willing To Do Crossover Events

12

Triple H recently did an interview with SunSport in the UK to talk about several professional wrestling topics. One such topic was the possibility of WWE working with other promotions such as IMPACT Wrestling, Ring Of Honor (ROH) or New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) for crossover events in the future. This is an idea that many wrestling fans would love to see happen in the future.

According to Triple H, WWE is willing to work with other promotions and listed out the deals the company already has in place with PROGRESS and ICW. If the right situation presents itself, it looks like WWE is willing to do business with just about anybody:

“We are open to doing things with anybody or anything. We have an alliance with PROGRESS in the UK, a situation with ICW in Scotland, two very well run and respected promotions that do good business – but more importantly they are cultivating talent.

“They are not just exploiting talent and grabbing guys to do a show with them, they are teaching talent and trying to make them better, which is what it is all about for me. Is there opportunity for cross-promotional events? Absolutely, with the right things. It’s a blank slate and I’m open to just about anything if the right situation shows itself”

Sheamus Opens Up On His WWE Future And Teaming With Cesaro

2

Former WWE Champion Sheamus has given some insight into his future with the sports entertainment company.

During a recent interview with The Telegraph Herald to promote Saturday’s WWE live event in Dubuque, Iowa, Sheamus was asked about his future and if he looks back at what he’s done in the past.

“Certain things happen in your career that bring you to your next point and then to your next point. My next great moment is not behind me, it’s in front of me. You keep moving forward.”

“I really don’t think about it to be honest. I’m always looking for the next challenge or looking for the next thing. Maybe when I’m retired in 30 years I can look back, but I’m looking for the next thing to achieve now. I still have a long way to go in this career.”

A few years ago, Sheamus reinvented himself by going from a singles star to a tag team performer by forming a partnership with Cesaro that has led to multiple Tag Team Title reigns.

Sheamus talked about teaming with Cesaro and how he handled being in new waters in his career.

“It was new waters as I’d never been in a tag team before. It was an opportunity to do something different and prove to the fans what we could do. I feel like we did give the tag division on RAW a huge boost. We’ve had some epic feuds. We’re just always ready to go and no matter what happens, Cesaro is the best in the world. He’s the real G-O-A-T and one day he will be world champion.”

Bret Hart Says He’s Embarrassed Over British Bulldog & Owen Hart Not Being In WWE Hall Of Fame

5

Bret Hart is adamant about wanting to see Owen Hart and British Bulldog be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke with TalkSPORT to talk about various topics while recently over in the UK.

In this interview, he was asked about his tweet on the Anniversary of Owen’s death when he stated that, ”I vow to keep your memory alive despite the efforts to let you fade away.”

Hart, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the sports entertainment company back in 2006, went on record by stating that he’s embarrassed that both Owen and Bulldog are not in the Hall of Fame at this point.

“Like a lot of people, if he’s not in the WWE hall of fame, then what kind of Hall of fame is it? I’m embarrassed on their part they can take so many great wrestlers and not include them in the Hall of Fame.

“I don’t have any problem with anyone who is in there, but I think Demolition should be in there, that Dynamite Kid should be in there, that Davey Boy should be in there. I’m embarrassed Owen isn’t in there. Owen was one of the most respected and admired in the business for his integrity alone. Why they won’t acknowledge him is beyond me?”

UFC President Dana White Blasts CM Punk’s MMA Haters

29

Last weekend (Sat. June 9, 2018) former WWE Champion CM Punk participated in the second mixed martial arts (MMA) fight of his career at UFC 225 on pay-per-view (PPV). Punk fought former Houston Golden Gloves winner Mike Jackson.

Punk was able to last all three rounds, as opposed to his first fight where he lost via submission in just over two minutes, but that was largely due to his opponent dragging the fight out. Punk has received a lot of criticism for his MMA career, with many suggesting he should simply return to professional wrestling.

UFC President Dana White recently jumped to Punk’s aid, saying he was following his dreams and put a ton of dedication into his new venture. He also blasted fans by saying it’s easy for them to criticize Punk, who is fighting three five minute rounds inside a cage, while they’re sitting in their living rooms watching:

“This guy was actually a huge star at WWE, came over here and put it all on the line twice in front of the whole world. Now if people can’t respect that, then you’re a f–king idiot anyways,” White said about Punk when speaking to the MMA Roasted podcast.

“You can’t tell somebody don’t do the thing that you want to do the most. CM Punk wanted to be a UFC fighter. He wanted to come and he wanted to fight here. He wanted it so bad that he f–king dropped everything and focused on nothing but mixed martial arts. Next time you talk to Duke Roufus or [Anthony] Pettis or any of those guys, talk about how this guy was driving back and forth from Chicago to their place and would drive for hours to come out and train and would train forever and they all ended up respecting him.

“The guy went in there and put it all on the line. Tell me one guy that can walk into the UFC at 38 years old and compete after he’s been training for f–king months,” White said. “He was just a regular guy. The only reason Brock Lesnar did as well as he did is because he was a real wrestler. The guy actually came from collegiate wrestling and he was one of the best.”

With all that being said, White doesn’t see a third UFC opportunity in Punk’s future, but credited him for having the guts to do it in the first place:

“I don’t think he really wants a third chance,” White said. “Hopefully after this last fight, the guy he’s got balls and he’s got guts and he went on the world stage and he gave it two shots. A lot of people want to talk s–t on CM Punk, get in there, come on over. Fight one of these guys. It’s easy to f–king sit in your living room and talk s–t. Come in here.”

Xavier Woods Thanks Fans For The Success of UpUpDownDown

1

Yesterday, Xavier Woods competed against Kenny Omega at E32018. They played against each other in Street Fighter V. The showdown was even promoted by WWE.com.

Today, Woods posted a heartfelt thank you to fans who have been following his YouTube channel and supported his gaming efforts.

“I started my YouTube channel ‘UpUpDownDown’ in order to have a creative outlet that was my own where I had the ability to create something that was mine. For the past three years all of you have watched the videos, laughed with me, cried with me, made fun of me, and most importantly just had a good time with me.

Everyday my amazing team works hard to bring you the most ridiculous and fun content that we possibly can. Yesterday we did something that no one thought we could ever do. We pulled off the “impossible” and I couldn’t be more proud of everyone involved. Yes, the rivalry between Kenny and myself was our story. But the larger picture was to shine a spotlight on the fighting game community. This group of guys and girls live this life all year long. They are an amazing group of people and we wanted to show the world what they are missing if they aren’t keeping an eye on them.

Yesterday was an example of how entertaining esports can be so find your local tournaments scene and support them. Thank you to everyone who has come along on this wild ride!”

He also posted this photo of himself with Kenny Omega from E3, where the New Day squared off against The Elite in a Street Fighter V battle.

Hangman Page Comments On Possibly Having Murdered Joey Ryan

6

While Hangman Page’s career seems to be skyrocketing, recent events could lead to his downfall. As has been alluded to recently on Being the Elite, there are concerns that Hangman Page is responsible for the disappearance of famous dick-wrestler, Joey Ryan.

He recently sat down with Impact Wrestling and AMBY’s Alicia Atout and spoke about the current allegations against him.

“If (Joey Ryan) is missing forever, I’m kind of fine with that,” Page explained. “But you know, it wasn’t me.”

Did Hangman Page Murder Joey Ryan?

Atout brought up that Joey Ryan’s wife has been raising concerns about Ryan’s whereabouts. She insinuated some are of the belief Page is responsible for Ryan’s disappearance. She asked Page why he dislikes Ryan so much.

“He was a penis pretender,” Page said. “I’m going to talk about him in the past tense maybe; he’s missing.”

“For years and years he built his whole career off a lie,” Page said regarding Ryan’s emphasis on his genitals. “As if he had a more impressive nether region than I did and it just wasn’t true.”

If Joey Ryan is ever to return, he might want to face Hangman Page on a big show. All-In on September 1st from Chicago seems like a possible time and location for such a match.

Hangman Page on Bullet Club Civil War

Atout also asked Page about the dissension in Bullet Club.

“At this point, it’s just down to Kenny and Cody; Two alpha males who they can’t help but want to call themselves the leader,” Page said. “We’re grown men, I don’t think we need a leader.”

Hangman Page will be in Texas tonight and tomorrow for Ring of Honor’s “State of the Art” tour. His most recent match was at Dominion this weekend. Page teamed with Cody and Marty Scurll to defeat the team of Rey Mysterio Jr, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Jushin “Thunder” Liger. He’ll team with the Young Bucks and Marty Scurll to go up against the Briscoes and KES tonight in San Antonio and then part of an ROH TV title 6-way Proving Ground match in Dallas on Saturday.

Ring Of Honor Announces “International Cup” For August UK Tour

0

Ring of Honor will be holding their first of what they hope will be many “International Cup” tournaments in mid-August. The promotion will be heading back to the UK from August 16th to 19th, 2018.

The cup will be competed for via an 8-man tournament featuring wrestlers from the United States against wrestlers from the United Kingdom. ROH noted they hope to follow a similar format for tournaments in Japan, Germany, and Mexico.

ROH’s International Cup

While the participants for the tournament have yet to be announced, ROH has revealed the tournament format.

The four 1st-round matches in the tournament will all take place in Edinburgh on August 16th, 2018. Each match will pit a UK wrestler versus one from the United States.

Both the semi-finals and the finals of the tournament will be held in Doncaster, England on August 18th, 2018. This part of the tournament does not appear to be based on the UK versus the United States theme but rather just pits wrestlers who advanced past the 1st round against each other regardless of where they are from.

The winner of the tournament will then move on to the show from London’s York Hall on August 19th, 2018. On that show, the ROH World Champion will defend the title against the winner of the first-ever ROH International Cup.

Tickets are available for all shows on ROHWrestling.com.

ROH Dojo

In other Ring of Honor news, the ROH Dojo is due to open next week. The Ring of Honor dojo is holding a 2-day camp on June 23rd and 24th. Delirious, BJ Whitmer, Jonathan Gresham, and Will Ferrara will be on hand for the camp.

Selected camp participants will then be invited to continue training at the dojo.

ROH will be in Texas this weekend. They have shows from both San Antonio and Dallas coming up on Friday and Saturday night.

Enzo Amore Opens Up About Problems With WWE

24

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Enzo Amore, recently appeared on the “Store Horsemen” podcast. The podcast features comedians from “the Comedy Store” in Los Angelas talking about pro-wrestling.

Enzo Amore on Almost Quitting WWE

During the podcast, Amore noted that he got into a disagreement with WWE management shortly after his heel turn. According to Enzo, the company never officially told him he was turning heel.

“I was backstage, I wrote the most tremendous promo of my life, which would have saved me as a babyface if I would have gotten the microphone,” Amore said. “So I was in the midst of turning heel but they didn’t want to tell me that, per say, per say. For the first time they come to me and say ‘no, you can’t say anything. You have to read this verbatim.’ And I’m backstage losing my sh*t, and Hunter comes up to me and was like ‘you say what’s on that script if you wanna keep your job.’ And they didn’t tell me I was turning heel so I get it, but at the time and in the moment, I was like f*ck this man I’m quitting.”

As talk turned to the allegations which have been plaguing his career as of late, Enzo had this to say:

“You know how scarred I am, bro? I haven’t even talked to a woman in five-six months. I’m out here hitting the repeat list, dawg.”

Enzo Amore’s Problems With WWE Creative

It also appears Enzo did not get along well with the creative team in WWE. During the podcast, Enzo also spent some time explaining why he and the WWE writers often came into conflict.

“As a writer, you gotta understand why people were maybe were mad to work with me or say I was difficult to work with. If a writer has a job to work with you and you get to work on Monday I re-write the whole f*cking promo,” Enzo said. “So they would give me my bullet points and I would rewrite my whole promos you know what I’m saying, and sometimes I could and could not, for instance ‘zero dimes’ you remember that thing? Like, Vince didn’t get it. So I used in NXT a bunch when I got to the main roster, Vince was like ‘…what’s that mean?’ So he doesn’t get but we’re making money off merchandise with it.”

Reason Why The Rock Is Not Likely To Compete At WrestleMania 35, Booker T On Fan Criticism

Reason Why The Rock Is Not Likely To Compete At WrestleMania 35

While not a big surprise, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that The Rock is not very likely to compete at WrestleMania 35 due to his upcoming film Red Notice.

The action comedy film co-starring Gal Gadot will start filming in April next year and the risk of injury and the usual insurance concerns will prohibit the former World Champion from wrestling at the Show of Shows.

The Rock did not appear at this year’s WrestleMania and he last wrestled a full-length match for the company during WrestleMania 29 against John Cena.

He suffered an injury during his match with the Cenation Leader causing several of his projects to be delayed, and the Hollywood star has not wrestled any real match since then.

Booker T On Fan Criticism

Booker T recently had an interview with Pancakes and Powerslams podcast where he talked about James Harden’s Raw appearance, Ember Moon being part of Money In The Bank Ladder match and more.

Discussing the fan criticism on his commentary, the former WCW Star said that he could talk on Television how he is talking to the host of the show but that’s not the role he chooses to play:

“I can talk just like I’m talking to you right now on television if I wanted to, but that’s not the role I choose to play on television, because that’s not the real Booker T that the people know on television. The intelligent speaking, the guy who is trying to use the right pronunciations for every word that he says.

Cedric Alexander Rips Lio Rush and Enzo Amore On Twitter

47

WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Cedric Alexander, recently took the time to put Lio Rush in his place on Twitter. He got in a shot at former Cruiserweight Champion, Enzo Amore, as well.

Rush earned himself some heat late last year after posting an insensitive remark concerning Emma following her WWE release. His upcoming debut in the cruiserweight division is currently being built up on episodes of 205 Live with a series of vignettes. Possibly in response to his reputation, Rush is being portrayed as an arrogant and entitled young prospect.

Rush and Alexander have been having a back and forth on Twitter recently.

Rush then seemed to acknowledge Alexander’s joke and laughed along with him.

The most significant comment was given by Alexander, who roasted both Rush and Enzo Amore in the same comment:

“This coming from the kid who wants to be a fake rapper. We had one of those on 205Live,” Alexander pointed out. “You wanna end up like him? I suggest you watch your mouth youngster.”

Lio Rush in NXT

The 23-year-old Rush has been competing on the NXT live tours but has not wrestled much on NXT television since signing with the company last year. Rush has only had 2 single’s matches on WWE programming thus far and he lost both of them. He has lost to Lars Sullivan earlier this year and to the Velveteen Dream late last year.

Cedric Alexander’s Cruiserweight Title Reign

Alexander is the 8th wrestler to wear the title and is currently defending the championship’s 10th reign. He’s held the title since WrestleMania 34 when he defeated Mustafa Ali in the finals of a tournament to declare a new champion. Since that time, he has successfully defended the title against Kalisto at the Greatest Royal Rumble and Buddy Murphy on 205 Live from May 29th, 2018.

Sid Vicious Reveals The Biggest Mistake Of His Wrestling Career

12

During a recent interview on Prime Time with Sean Mooney, former WWE and WCW Star Sid Vicious recalled the time when he was the subject to a bidding war between both the companies and declared the decision he made at the time to be the biggest mistake of his wrestling career.

According to Sid, WCW booker at the time Dusty Rhodes was offering him a prominent spot in the company and a downside guaranteed contract which was worth $750,000.

On the other hand, Vince McMahon had not offered a guaranteed contract but he agreed to Sid’s demand of giving him Hulk Hogan’s spot in the company and elaborated that he would make what WCW was offering from WrestleMania alone.

When he had made his mind about signing with WCW, Mr. McMahon gave him a call and convinced him to sign with WWE instead and according to the former WCW World Champion, it was the biggest mistake of his life:

“So, this is probably the biggest mistake of my life. I’m leaving, the phone rings and it’s Vince McMahon … He says, ‘Sid. You’re never going to get this opportunity again.’ So, I made my mind up to f—— take that chance. And it was a big mistake”

Continuing on the topic, Sid revealed that he made $150,000 from WrestleMania and according to him while it was still good money, he regrets not signing the guaranteed contract instead. You can check out his full interview in the video below:

WWE Trying To Block ROH, Lana On How She Gets Boost Before Match

14

WWE Trying To Block ROH

Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. CEO Chris Ripley had discussed some interesting plans for ROH during a recent interview and he had revealed that they are looking to run a show at Madison Square Garden next year, following the successful sell out of ALL In.

Later it was reported that WWE Officials were not happy with this development and now in an update, Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that the company Officials are ‘doing everything possible’ to block this planned show.

No word yet on what moves the company is making to try and block the indie promotion from running a show in the famous arena but we’ll keep you posted on updates.

Lana On How She Gets Boost Before Match

SmackDown Star Lana recently had an interview with Women’s Health to discuss her diet and more. During the interview, she revealed that she sometimes needs an energy boost before going into the ring and she used to rely on Sour Skittles to get the job done.

Continuing on the topic, the WWE Star said that she has now switched to dark chocolate or coffee to get the sugar before a match and she also claimed to be a dessert person:

“I am more of a dessert person, I don’t have a cheat day. If I really want an Oreo before I go out and wrestle, I’m going to have it and it’s going to be fine.”

Lana is set to compete in the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match this Sunday.

Can Brock Lesnar Appear At UFC 226?

3

While there have been a lot of talk about Brock Lesnar possibly returning to UFC, so far there hasn’t been any solid development which may reveal if the Beast has actually made his mind about returning to the Octagon.

However, if a latest report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, then there is a chance that Lesnar will appear at an upcoming UFC event, not only confirming his return to the company but his opponent as well.

According to the newsletter, there has at least been some talk about the Universal Champion showing up at UFC 226 Event next month and challenging the winner of Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier fight.

This puts things in an interesting place as there had been rumors of Lesnar dropping the title at SummerSlam and the working idea for his opponent was said to be Roman Reigns.

However, a recent report revealed that so far Lesnar is not booked for that or any other PPV in future and Vince McMahon is yet to confirm whether or not he will be a part of the Biggest Party of The Summer.

So after these talks, the big question now is if Mr. McMahon can allow Brock to return to Octagon while still holding the Universal Championship and have him drop the belt sometime afterward?
