Adam Copeland made a triumphant return at AEW Worlds End 2024. After being sidelined since May with a broken tibia suffered during a steel cage match against Malakai Black, Copeland’s comeback was met with thunderous applause from the AEW faithful.
Speculation had been building about his return, with many expecting him to show up at the January 1st Dynamite in Asheville, but AEW chose the Worlds End pay-per-view as the perfect platform for his comeback as he and FTR took out Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.

Kenny Omega has officially returned at AEW World’s End 2024, marking a momentous comeback after an extended hiatus due to health challenges. Wrestling fans worldwide have eagerly anticipated this event, and Omega delivered in spectacular fashion.
After a prolonged battle with diverticulitis that sidelined him for most of 2024, Omega made his surprise return tonight at AEW World’s End. The crowd erupted as his iconic music played, signaling the dramatic conclusion to the Continental Classic tournament final between Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay.
During Christopher Daniels’ announcement that he could no longer hand over Okada’s title due to stepping down as an AEW EVP, Omega’s music interrupted, igniting the crowd. The former AEW World Champion emerged dressed in an impeccably tailored suit and locked eyes with Okada, creating an electrifying moment in the arena.
EVP Kenny Omega presents Kazuchika Okada his Continental Championship, but is that his only motive?
This confrontation sets the stage for a potential revival of the Omega-Okada rivalry in AEW heading into 2025, a storyline fans have been longing to see unfold.
Kenny Omega’s return is not just a pivotal moment for him personally but also a major boost for AEW as a whole. His presence at World’s End reinvigorates the promotion, which has keenly felt his absence throughout 2024.
As one of AEW’s marquee stars and a former World Champion, Omega’s involvement in high-profile storylines is essential to sustaining fan interest and driving the excitement surrounding AEW’s future.
With his dramatic return at AEW World’s End, Omega is set to reclaim his position at the pinnacle of All Elite Wrestling. Fans can expect him to play a central role in upcoming narratives, including his highly anticipated match against Gabe Kidd at Wrestle Dynasty in January.
Kazuchika Okada has won the AEW Continental Classic 2024 tournament after a hellacious match against Will Ospreay. The two men managed to get to the final of the tournament by beating Kyle Fletcher and Ricochet respectively, before meeting in the penultimate match of the Worlds End PPV event.
Ospreay came into the bout bleeding heavily from his first match Fletcher, whereas Okada was the fresher man. After a fantastic back and forth match, Okada managed to win the match and retain his Continental Championship in the process.
Braun Strowman shared a special moment with the sons of Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt after this week’s episode of SmackDown went off air.
December 26 was the 4th anniversary of the former Luke Haprer’s untimely passing. WWE had invited Amanda Huber & their kids as well as Jojo Offerman & her son to the latest WWE TV event.
Throughout the night many WWE stars greeted both the families during their segments. This included Natalya and Cody Rhodes who gave a shoutout to Brodie Jr. as his friend during his promo at the end of SmackDown.
Strowman and Jey Uso came out after the show to save Sami Zayn from a beatdown from the New Bloodline. After taking out Solo and his cousins, the Monster Among Men invited both Brodie and Bray’s kids into the ring for a heart-touching moment:
Before this, the main event segment of SmackDown saw The American Nightmare confronting his former friend Kevin Owens after the latter brutally attacked him at the end of Saturday Night’s Main Event and stole the Winged Eagle title belt.
Kevin was demanding a rematch for the Undisputed title where a referee couldn’t screw him over. After an exchange of words, Rhodes proposed a ladder match which Nick Aldis made official for Royal Rumble.
As AEW Worlds End 2024 continues, speculation has been rampant about the potential debut of Shane McMahon in All Elite Wrestling. However, a recent report from Fightful on Patreon has shed new light on the situation, indicating that Shane McMahon is not backstage at the event tonight.
Shane McMahon’s AEW Connections
Rumors of Shane McMahon’s involvement with AEW have been circulating for months, fueled by a viral photo of McMahon meeting with AEW owner Tony Khan. This encounter sparked widespread discussion about the possibility of the former WWE executive making a shocking appearance in the rival promotion.
Adding to the intrigue, McMahon has been spotted with other AEW personalities, including the Young Bucks and Mercedes Mone, although these encounters were reportedly chance meetings at airports. Despite these connections, concrete evidence of McMahon’s imminent debut has remained elusive.
AEW Worlds End Speculation
Many fans and industry insiders had speculated that AEW Worlds End would be the perfect stage for Shane McMahon’s debut. The event, marking the final show of 2024, seemed like an opportune moment for such a high-profile addition to the roster.
Some predictions even suggested that McMahon could appear during the AEW World Championship match, potentially aligning himself with Jon Moxley in a shocking twist. However, the latest report casts doubt on these scenarios.
A top AEW faction has reformed at the Worlds End PPV event tonight from Orlando, Florida. Following the match between MJF and Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong and The Kingdom all joined Cole in the ring.
O’Reilly has had issues with Cole for the past few months, with the two former Undisputed Era stablemates being at odds with how to deal with Maxwell and his attack on Roderick Strong. Well, it now appears as if they’ve put that behind them and will be aligned going forward, with O’Reilly even doing his trademark air guitar from his NXT days.
Post-match chaos sees Kyle O'Reilly coming to Adam Cole’s rescue!
All five men were in the ring together, but it remains to be seen whether or not The Kingdom will stay with the ‘OG’ group or even if Bobby Fish makes an unlikely return.
What we also do not know is if this is finally the blow off to the Cole and MJF feud. At one point this feud was white hot, but injuries and inconsistent booking meant it lost a ton of lustre and has seemingly now whimpered out.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is set to host its highly anticipated Worlds End 2024 pay-per-view event on December 28, 2024, at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.

Social Media Platforms: AEW often streams events on their official Facebook and Twitter accounts, making it accessible for fans across different platforms.
What to Expect from the Media Scrum
During the media scrum, viewers can anticipate:

Breaking News: Important announcements about future events or roster changes often occur during these scrums, making it a must-watch for dedicated fans.
AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May successfully retained her title at the Worlds End 2024 PPV event tonight after hitting a piledriver through a table to Thunder Rosa.
It was a brawl between May and Rosa in the Tijuana Street Fight, but the Storm Zero Piledriver through a table on the outside managed to get the job done for May, who goes into 2025 at the top of the pile when it comes to the Women’s division.
Mariah May hits Toni Storm’s Finisher at Worlds End
May and Toni Storm were feuding up to All In earlier this year before Storm disappeared and only recently showed her face again on AEW programming.
The short Piledriver from May to Rosa through the table was quite clearly a modified version of Storm’s finisher, so it looks like they’re going to continue teasing this storyline in the coming months before the expected rematch at All In Texas in 2025.
A “first-time-ever” Dream Match has been set up for the first AEW Collision on MAX/TNT simulcast on January 4th. Although…it’s worth noting that the quotation marks are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.
Toni Storm made her “AEW PPV debut” at Worlds End by defeating Leila Grey in the opening match of the Zero Hour pre-show. Later in the pre-show, Storm was being interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair when Deonna Purrazzo appeared and challenged Toni to a match on Collision.
AEW Collision Toni Storm vs Deonna Purrazzo
Purrazzo was playing along with the idea that Toni is a “rookie” and that this would be a first-time-ever match. Obviously that isn’t the case, but it looks like the Storm storyline will be continuing for at least another week as she navigates her way through the All Elite Women’s roster before getting her inevitable rematch with Mariah May.
After Toni Storm's victory at #AEWWorldsEnd Zero Hour, Deonna Purrazzo has the offer of a lifetime for the "newcomer"!
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is set to kick off 2025 with its highly anticipated pay-per-view event, AEW Revolution. Scheduled for Sunday, March 9, this flagship event will take place at the iconic Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Marking its sixth annual installment, AEW Revolution has become synonymous with showcasing some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Fans can expect the tradition to continue as the event promises another unforgettable night of top-tier professional wrestling action.
This Los Angeles debut adds to the excitement, with the Crypto.com Arena providing the perfect stage for AEW’s dynamic talent roster and thrilling storytelling. Stay tuned as AEW builds momentum toward what is sure to be a spectacular event.
Since its inception in 2020, AEW Revolution has been hosted in several cities across the United States. Here’s a chronological list of the cities that have hosted AEW Revolution:
Chicago, Illinois (2020): The inaugural AEW Revolution took place on February 29, 2020, at the Wintrust Arena.
Jacksonville, Florida (2021): While not explicitly mentioned in the search results, it’s important to note that most AEW events in 2021 were held at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Orlando, Florida (2022): The 2022 edition of Revolution was held on March 6 at the Addition Financial Arena.
San Francisco, California (2023): AEW Revolution took place on March 5, 2023, at the Chase Center.
Greensboro, North Carolina (2024): The most recent Revolution event was held at the Greensboro Coliseum.
AEW Worlds End 2024 is now underway from the Prudential Center, and there is a new report from Fightful that indicates a potential spoiler for the show. Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana are reportedly in Orlando for the event, even though Strickland is not booked for a match at this time.
“Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana are in Orlando for the show, and are planned for the event, but aren’t scheduled for a match”
It is not currently known exactly what Swerve and Nana will be doing on the show, but it does look like they will be involved in some capacity.
Fans of AEW are buzzing after Tony Khan discussed the potential for a Women’s Continental Classic tournament. Speaking during a media call ahead of tonight’s Worlds EndPPV, Khan expressed interest in expanding the Continental Classic concept to include AEW’s women’s division, citing the talent and strength of the roster as key factors.
Tony Khan’s Vision for the Women’s Continental Classic
The Continental Classic, which debuted in 2023, has been a platform for high-stakes, round-robin competition. When asked about creating a women’s iteration of the tournament, Khan responded positively, acknowledging the growing momentum in AEW’s women’s division.
“I think the [women’s] division is very strong. This year, we’ve had some of the best matches in the history of AEW women’s wrestling. A Women’s Continental Classic could be very exciting if we keep everyone healthy.”
While acknowledging the challenges posed by injuries and the grueling nature of the tournament, Khan emphasized his enthusiasm for AEW’s current crop of female wrestlers and their recent performances.
Building Toward the Future
The prospect of a Women’s Continental Classic is a natural progression for AEW’s expanding focus on its women’s division. The tournament could provide a fresh platform for stars like Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida, and others to shine while enhancing rivalries and fan engagement week to week on Dynamite and Collision.
CM Punk is set to compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Title in a highly anticipated dream match against GUNTHER. The match is scheduled for the December 29th WWE house show at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
Punk remains a major draw in the Chicago market, owing to his deep connection with the city. Notably, he captured the WWE Championship at the Allstate Arena during the iconic Money in the Bank pay-per-view in 2011.
In 2024, Punk’s return to prominence has been marked by memorable feuds with Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. Meanwhile, GUNTHER has established himself as a dominant force in WWE this year as World Heavyweight Champion, with high-profile victories over stars like Damian Priest and Randy Orton, since winning the title at SummerSlam.
Initially, the December 29th main event was set to feature GUNTHER vs. Damian Priest. However, the lineup has since shifted to include Punk in what promises to be a marquee matchup.
Other highlights of the event include Sami Zayn challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Title. Seth Rollins, who has been facing Dominik Mysterio at recent house shows, is also expected to appear. Additionally, Rey Mysterio, Wyatt Sicks, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and more are advertised for the show.
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Max Caster recently voiced his frustration with AEW’s decision to heavily edit his entrance rap during the recent episode of AEW Rampage.
The rapper and wrestler called the move disrespectful to both his artistry and hip-hop culture.
What Happened on AEW Rampage?
During the match where Anthony Bowens faced Chris Jericho, fans noticed that Caster’s trademark rap introduction was unusually brief. This raised eyebrows, leading to speculation that the segment had been altered. Caster later confirmed on social media that the rap had indeed been cut, describing the move as an affront to his craft.
In a fiery Instagram post, later shared on X (formerly Twitter), Caster revealed the full lyrics of the edited rap. The original lines contained witty jabs at Jericho and references to Luigi Mangione.
Caster did not hold back, accusing AEW of lacking respect for his creative contributions and the broader hip-hop culture. His lyrics, as posted online, carried his usual sharp humor and biting commentary, which has become a hallmark of The Acclaimed’s appeal.
He wrote: “Since they cut my rap again, here’s what I said. Whoever decided to chop it up is a huge p**y and has no respect for what I do and no respect for hip-hop.”*
AEW recently uploaded a video to X/Twitter showing how excited Toni Storm is for her “first” All Elite Wrestling PPV appearance tonight at Worlds End. Storm is technically not even going to be on the PPV as she is facing Leila Grey on the Zero Hour Pre-Show.
This is of course all part of her ongoing storyline where she either appears to have amnesia or is playing mindgames with Mariah May. Storm has been indicating that she is completely unaware of her previous exploits in AEW, constantly saying that she is a “rookie” in the promotion and has to earn her way up to the upper end of the card (despite her being a big star and former Women’s Champion).
Toni Storm is excited for her match up TONIGHT on #AEWWorldsEnd Zero Hour!
Why is Toni Storm wrestling on the Worlds End Pre-Show?
Toni Storm isn’t wrestling in a high-profile match at Worlds End because she is a “rookie.” At least, that’s what she either believes in storyline or she is playing some mind games with her rival Mariah May, who defeated her back at All In London.
Having Storm now working her way back up the roster whilst seemingly having no idea what is going on has added a fantastic dynamic to the Mariah/Toni feud. There’s no indication as to when this will play off, but it’s going to be fun seeing it play off.
NJPW and AEW are set to run their first Wrestle Dynasty show on Sunday, January 5th, a day after the iconic Tokyo Dome Wrestle Kingdom show on January 4th. There are already some pretty big matches confirmed for that show, but it appears as though New Japan actually wanted more talent from All Elite that they couldn’t get a hold of.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, NJPW wanted to bring more talent in for the event, but due to Collision taking place on the Saturday night, the talent wouldn’t be able to appear at both:
“There were a number of talent that NJPW wanted for Wrestle Dynasty, but were already planned for Collision the same day.”
Fightful Select
We do not currently know how the talents are, but there will probably be some more indication when Collision takes place on January 4th when the show goes live.
Wrestle Dynasty Card

A new report from Fightful Select has revealed that Bryan Danielson is backstage at AEW Worlds End 2024. This appearance is fueling speculation about his role in the event and the broader trajectory of his AEW career.
Fans last saw Bryan Danielson actively involved with AEW during the AEW All In Dallas ticketing event, where he played a role in promoting upcoming events.
Despite his ‘forced retirement’ earlier this year, Danielson remains committed to AEW, contributing in various capacities even when not actively wrestling.
What Could Bryan Danielson’s Role Be at Worlds End?
Given his immense influence in AEW both in and out of the ring, speculation abounds about Bryan Danielson’s potential involvement at Worlds End 2024.
While his physical condition might limit in-ring action, and he very likely will not be appearing on-camera, his creative input and on-screen charisma COULD set the stage for major storylines as AEW gears up for the new year.
We do not expect Danielson to appear on the show tonight, but it’s interesting that he is still at some of these bigger events backstage.
Kenny Omega’s anticipated return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has been a hot topic among wrestling fans. With the Worlds End 2024 pay-per-view scheduled for tonight (December 28), speculation is rampant about whether Omega will make his comeback at this significant event.
Omega has been sidelined for most of 2024 due to a severe case of diverticulitis, which required extensive recovery and rehabilitation. His last appearance in the ring was over a year ago, and since then, he has been focused on healing and training for a return to action.
Recently, he made headlines by announcing a match against Gabe Kidd at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025, signaling his readiness to compete again.
Hints of a Return at Worlds End
Reports indicate that Omega’s return to AEW might coincide with the Worlds End event. A vignette promoting his comeback aired during the December 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, hinting at his imminent return.
According to sources speaking to Fightful Select, there is an “active plan” for Omega to appear at Worlds End, although the specifics of his role remain unclear. This has led fans to wonder if he will participate in a match or perhaps kick off a new storyline.
The Importance of Omega’s Return
Kenny Omega is considered one of the top stars in AEW, and his return could significantly impact the promotion as it wraps up the year. His presence is expected to generate excitement and potentially shift the dynamics within various ongoing storylines. Notably, the event will also feature high-stakes matches, including a four-way contest for the AEW World Championship in the main event slot, making it an ideal time for Omega to re-enter the fray.
As fans eagerly await confirmation of Omega’s participation at Worlds End 2024, his return promises to be a pivotal moment for AEW, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter as the company heads into 2025.
Mariah May will be defending her AEW Women’s World Championship at the AEW Worlds End 2024 PPV event tonight. May will be putting her belt on the line against former champion Thunder Rosa in a Tijuana Street Fight, and both women have traded shots online ahead of the contest.
A Tijuana Street Fight is a type of match characterized by its chaotic and extreme nature. This match format often includes the use of weapons, no disqualifications, and a general lack of rules, allowing for a more brutal and unpredictable contest.
Key Features of a Tijuana Street Fight
No Disqualifications: Wrestlers can use weapons and engage in any form of combat without the risk of disqualification.
Weapons Allowed: Common items used in these matches may include chairs, tables, and other objects that can enhance the physicality of the fight.
Brawling Style: The match typically emphasizes brawling over technical wrestling, leading to a more intense atmosphere.
Cultural Reference: The name “Tijuana” suggests a connection to the vibrant and sometimes chaotic wrestling culture found in Tijuana, Mexico, known for its Lucha Libre style.
Check out the back and forth between both women below:
The AEW Continental Classic (C2) is a prestigious annual tournament organized by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The winner of this high-stakes competition earns not only the coveted AEW Continental Championship but also recognition as a top-tier competitor All Elite.
What is the AEW Continental Championship?
The AEW Continental Championship is a unique title introduced in November 2023. The championship is contested under Continental Rules, which emphasize fair play by banning outside interference and ringside presence during matches of managers or faction members. The title is designed to showcase wrestling skill and strategy in its purest form.
How Does the Tournament Work?
The Continental Classic is a round-robin tournament, with matches spanning AEW’s flagship shows: Dynamite and Collision. The competition culminates at the Worlds End Pay-Per-View event, where the finals decide the champion.
Continental Rules
Matches held in the AEW Continental Classic adhere to “Continental Rules,” which prioritize integrity and sportsmanship. These include:
No Outside Interference: Wrestlers are prohibited from having managers, teammates, or anyone else at ringside. This ensures that the outcomes are determined strictly by the competitors’ efforts.
Strict Prohibition of Interference: Any attempt by external parties to influence the match results in immediate disqualification, safeguarding the legitimacy of the competition.
Time Limit for Matches: Each match has a 20-minute time limit, which adds urgency and encourages a fast-paced, decisive style of wrestling. If no winner is determined within the time limit, the match ends in a draw.
Round-Robin Format
The tournament uses a round-robin structure, with participants divided into groups. Each wrestler competes against every other member of their group, earning points based on their performance:
Win: 2 points
Draw: 1 point
Loss: 0 points
At the end of the group stage, the top competitors from each group advance to the finals.
Tiebreakers in Standings
If wrestlers are tied in points at the end of the group stage, tiebreakers are applied to determine who advances. This might include:
Head-to-Head Results: Performance in matches between the tied wrestlers.
Additional Matches: A tiebreaker match may be scheduled if necessary.
The Finals at Worlds End
The tournament culminates in a high-stakes match at AEW’s Worlds End Pay-Per-View event. The winner of the final not only claims victory in the Continental Classic but also becomes or remains the AEW Continental Champion.
What Does the Winner Gain?
The AEW Continental Championship The primary prize of the C2 tournament is the AEW Continental Championship, making the winner the reigning champion of this prestigious title.
Prestige and Legacy Winning the tournament cements the wrestler’s status in AEW’s history books. Eddie Kingston, the inaugural winner, was also crowned the American Triple Crown Champion for simultaneously holding titles in AEW and its partner promotions.
Future Opportunities The winner of the tournament often finds themselves positioned for further main-event opportunities, boosting their career trajectory in AEW and beyond.
The reigning champion at the time of the C2 is automatically entered into the tournament and must defend their title throughout the event, adding an extra layer of intensity to the competition.
