AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May successfully retained her title at the Worlds End 2024 PPV event tonight after hitting a piledriver through a table to Thunder Rosa.
It was a brawl between May and Rosa in the Tijuana Street Fight, but the Storm Zero Piledriver through a table on the outside managed to get the job done for May, who goes into 2025 at the top of the pile when it comes to the Women’s division.

Mariah May hits Toni Storm’s Finisher at Worlds End
May and Toni Storm were feuding up to All In earlier this year before Storm disappeared and only recently showed her face again on AEW programming.
The short Piledriver from May to Rosa through the table was quite clearly a modified version of Storm’s finisher, so it looks like they’re going to continue teasing this storyline in the coming months before the expected rematch at All In Texas in 2025.
