FCW Diva Likely Being Promoted, WWE Divas Talk Stacy Keibler

— WWE developmental wrestler Naomi is pictured in the official WWE souvenir program exclusive sold at the ongoing European live event tour.

Zack Ryder tweeted a cell phone shot of the page featuring Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta, which includes Naomi.

Though Naomi placed in second in last year’s all-female season of NXT, she is the last remaining contracted contestant to be situated in developmental. A.J., Aksana and Kaitlyn are all members of the SmackDown roster, while Maxine appears on NXT. She has, however, appeared at several non-televised events since the season’s conclusion.

— Inspired by the recent surge of news surrounding former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, Brooke Anderson will join Eve, Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox in a WWE ring to interview them for a special segment on the syndicated tabloid television news program The Insider. The segment was scheduled to air on Wednesday’s show, but was postponed.

Eve tweeted, “Our @TheInsider segment should be airing later this week :-) We’ll keep you posted!”

Detials On Maryse’s WWE Release & Possible Playboy Plans

31

Former WWE diva Maryse was released from the company on October 28th, a move that was a surprise to many backstage.

As to whether the decision was hers or WWE, a WWE source indicates that it was mutual. Maryse was already looking beyond WWE at getting back into modeling and possibly even posing for Playboy, but it was WWE that made the call to release her. Because the company did not see any issues with her going to TNA (like Gail Kim), they did not have as much of an issue letting her go.

Prior to her getting injured (and undergoing surgery to correct an abdominal hernia), there were plans to start an angle where Hornswoggle had the hots for her.

She was medically cleared to return several weeks ago and she was telling people that she was about to be brought back to television.

She is still dating Miz and currently resides in Southern California.

Spike TV President Talks About Taking Impact On The Road

7

Spike TV President Kevin Kay recently commented on the possibility of taking Impact Wrestling on the road more often. He said:

“It was a mutual (Spike & TNA) decision. Dixie and Eric came in and pushed for it. I always wanted to do it. It’s great to have a home, but you don’t get the level of excitement as you do on the road. It adds a another level. We’re continuing discussions.”

“We haven’t seen a (ratings) bump, but you can’t judge ratings week-to-week, some weeks things happen like competition, even though TNA holds up well against sports. As we can afford to continue it or increase it, it’s a financial decision. It adds a lot of excitement and vibrancy to the show.”

Moving forward, it appears TNA will be taping Impact from Orlando the night after pay-per-views and then the tapings prior to the next PPV will be on the road. No new Impact tapings outside of Orlando have been announced at this time.

Undertaker’s Return, Triple H’s Storyline Injury, Sheamus

24

— As previously reported, both The Undertaker and his wife Michelle Cool were backstage at the October 24th RAW Supershow from Austin, TX. According to sources backstage, both Undertaker and McCool were talking to WWE officials about possible scenarios where they could both return to television.

— Sheamus will be a presenter at the MTV European Music Awards show from Belfast on 11/6.

— Following Kevin Nash’s attack on Triple H from 2 weeks ago, WWE announced Triple H had sustained a “serious concussion” and a cracked vertebrae. The cracked vertebrae diagnoses was given because WWE has a new company policy where they will not be using the term “broken neck” for storyline injuries.

WWE said Triple H will be out past Survivor Series, so it’s possible his match with Kevin Nash will take place at TLC in December.

JR Blog: Survivor Series Hype, Lita At RAW, Windham

4

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with another update, which you can read in its entirety over at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some highlights of what JR said about:

Lita At RAW: “Good seeing Amy Dumas in Atlanta. She’s staying busy but was smart w/ her money and owns property in Atlanta and Nicaguara. Still looks great and has a wonderful spirit. A true pleasure to be around.”

“‘Lita’ likely can help the biz in many ways including, perhaps, a short term run as Lita but could certainly help greatly in WWE developmental.”

Barry Windham Update: “Barry Windham’s primary issue is dealing with his recent heart attack but I’m told he’s stable and receiving good care. BW was an amazing talent back in the day and at one time was arguably top 3-4 in the world.”

Survivor Series: “Seems to me that the ‘hook’ for Survivor Series is whether or not John Cena & The Rock will maim each other while teaming which could lead to bigger days down the road. Honestly, Miz & Truth winning in the newly remodeled MSG would shock me but who knows? Intriguing and vital night for WWE on tap at their next PPV. “

Kelly Kelly Says Vince McMahon Taught Her How To Striptease

31

A bikini-clad Kelly Kelly pressed against a red sports car is featured on the cover of the December 2011 issue of Maxim. Enclosed are photos as well as a one-page interview in which she discusses her journey through WWE, crazy fan experiences, trips overseas and more.

When asked if she was a wrestling fan before joining the industry, she replied, “Oh, yeah, since I was a kid.”

She continued, “My mom thought it was too violent, but my dad would sneak me into the bedroom to watch with him. It never crossed my mind I could do this kind of stuff. I thought wrestlers were larger than life, so when WWE called and asked if I wanted to train, I was like, “Oh, my God, yes!”

Kelly made her WWE debut on June 13, 2006, becoming the youngest female performer in company history at age 19. Her character, an exhibitionist, was introduced performing a striptease for the crowd. She reveals Vince McMahon demonstrated the routine she performed in front of the crowd that night.

Kelly recalls, “I’d only been training for two months when I found out I was going to start appearing on TV—as an exhibitionist! When Vince McMahon showed me the routine, I was in shock, but, you know, anything to get my foot in the door. It was the most nerve-racking minute of my life.”

Kelly definitely feels she had to prove herself to “the boys.”

“A lot of the guys there didn’t like me at first, because they were used to training with girls who had wrestling experience. I was the youngest Diva they’d ever had and one of the first models, so I was like, “I’m going to work my butt off.”

On the June 20, 2011 edition of Raw, Kelly won her first WWE title after she was selected by the WWE Universe to face Brie Bella. She says that is her most memorable moment in WWE.

“To win the title, after being in the ring for five years—it felt like I’d really achieved something,” Kelly says. “It was my time.”

“I took this as something where I could be a little more tongue-in-cheek. Vince, though, had always seen me as a killer brutalizing people in the ring and throwing them around. This was different.”

Demolition: Road Warrior Ripoff Claims, Mr. Fuji & More (Video)

39

Interview with Former WWE Tag champions Demolition
Hosted by Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) of TheScore.com

Why the original Smash Randy Colley (Moondog Rex) was replaced by Barry Darsow:

Bill Eadie : “It was well known that Randy was part of the Moondogs. To try to have another persona, your also popular as that previous persona. It was fortunte for me cause Randy is a good friend of mine, but Barry is alot more professional, and a much closer friend.”

Barry Darsow: “When I got the call to come up there, Vince called me and told me I have the chance to be partners with Bill Eadie, I just said yes right away, I just jumped at the chance.”

If Demoition are a rip off of the Road Warriors: (Eadie) “We knew what we could do, we felt we were successful. I thought we did it better. This is an ego driven business, so if you don’t have confidence in yourself, you need to get out of the business. There’s gonna be fans that say that we are rip offs, but there’s gonna be Demolition fans that say they (Road Warriors) were the rip offs. I cant be worried about that. My main concern and his (Barry Darsow) main concern is we went to work each day, and we did the best we could.”

Other Topics Discussed Include:

– Why Demolition is so popular compared to their other personas and which personas they enjoyed working as the most

– Who came up with the Demolition character

– Were Demolition better as a babyface or heel tag team

– How important Mr. Fuji was to the success of the team

Here’s a video clip of the interview:

More Details On Evan Bourne’s Suspension From WWE

24

WWE announced Tuesday they have suspended performer Evan Bourne for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s Talent Wellness Program.

WWE issued a press release stating: “In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company’s policy.”

Bourne’s suspension was not unexpected since he was summoned to a meeting with WWE officials at Monday’s Raw SuperShow in Atlanta, Georgia regarding a recent violation of their Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy (a component of the Talent Wellness Program), which according to corporate.wwe.com, “prohibits the use of drugs by talent for other than a legitimate medical purpose pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed and treating physician.”

WWE employees were surprised he and Kofi Kingston didn’t lose the Tag Team Championship on Raw. The duo is now expected to drop the titles at tonight’s SmackDown in Greenville, North Carolina since his suspension has been publicly announced.

Many WWE performers believe the recent rash of suspensions is tied to Talent Wellness Program administers cracking down on usage of synthetic cannabis, which was added to the banned substances list in June. Sold under the brand names K2 and Spice, the substance was banned for at least a year effective March 1, 2011 by the Drug Enforcement Administration so they could study its effects more thoroughly and decide whether a permanent ban is necessary.

Bourne is the third WWE performer to be suspended in the past month, following Darren Young and Heath Slater.
