WWE Considering Australian PPV in 2018

WWE does not like to hold PPV events outside of their traditional markets. Despite this, there are reports they are considering running an Australian PPV next year.

WWE has run several successful live event tours in Australian. In 2002, WWE‘s Global Warming tour drew over 50,000 fans in Melbourne.

According to a report from the Pro Wrestling Sheet, there have been internal discussions about holding a PPV at the Melbourne Cricket Ground next year. The venue holds 100,000 people.
