Mark Briscoe Out Of CMLL Grand Prix Due To Injury

ROH wrestler Mark Birscoe has pulled out of the CMLL Grand Prix tournament due to an unfortunate injury, sustained during a recent ROH live show.

Ring of Honor (ROH) has officially announced that Mark Briscoe has suffered an unfortunate knee injury. This injury has forced the wrestler to pull out of the CMLL Grand Prix tournament. The injury occurred during an ROH live event from this past weekend. He was one of four ROH stars scheduled to participate in the competition.

The 11-time ROH World Tag Team Champion will undergo an MRI exam to determine how severe the injury is.

“It sucks that he’s hurt,” Jay Briscoe said during CMLL’s Grand Prix press conference. “We do double-team moves like no other tag team in this world, so that was definitely going to be a blow to the Mexican team, but it ain’t going to matter. We still gonna win.”
