EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory worked his first NXT match.

Two interesting names made their debuts under the WWE banner at the NXT house show on Thursday night in Daytona, Florida.

EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory made his in-ring debut by losing to Bronson Reed while former University of Maryland football player and Army veteran Tehuti Miles lost to Cameron Grimes. Both were singles matches.

Both stars were part of the group of WWE signees that reported to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida last month.

Theory is slated to make his next title defense as EVOLVE Champion against Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 136 in Queens, New York this Saturday (September 21). It’s possible that’s when he drops the title and moves to NXT full-time.
