WWE RAW Viewership Increases For SummerSlam Go-Home Show

Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Pittsburgh, PA at the PPG Paints Arena averaged 2.473 million viewers, up from 2.321 million the previous week.

Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.411 million
  • Hour 2: 2.571 million
  • Hour 3: 2.438 million

The episode was expected to increase in viewership it served as the go-home show episode of RAW for the SummerSlam pay-per-view event this Sunday. 

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 2.83 million viewers for hour one, 2.854 in the second hour, and 2.728 in the third hour.

The show featured an appearance by Universal Champion Brock Lesnar alongside his advocate Paul Heyman for a segment that led to “The Beast” attacking Seth Rollins hype their match at SummerSlam. 

Some of the matches that took place include Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya & Trish Stratus, Andrade (w/Zelina Vega) vs. Rey Mysterio, Big E & Xavier Woods vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows.

Also, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles when they beat Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville and The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match.
