Two brothers on opposite sides of the wrestling war are both running out of contract, and they have filed for a team name.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer told his subscribers on Saturday that Dragon Lee and Dralistico have deals expiring soon.
“Dragon Lee and Dralistico both have deals expiring fairly soon, and interestingly enough they have trademarked the name HERMANOS LEE.”
Dragon Lee has been in WWE since signing in December 2022. Dralistico signed with AEW in November 2023. They are two of the three wrestling sons of La Bestia del Ring, alongside Rush, who is also under contract to AEW.
The trademark is the interesting part. “Hermanos Lee” translates to the Lee Brothers, and it is the name the two worked under as a team in Mexico before they went their separate ways. It is not a name either man needs while they are working for different companies.
Dragon Lee lost to Chad Gable in an Intercontinental Title match on the September 14 Raw in Mexico City. He wrestles Solo Sikoa and Dominik Mysterio in a Money in the Bank qualifier on Monday.
Dralistico has been quiet by comparison. His last AEW match came at the June 6 Collision taping, where he teamed with Rush and Sammy Guevara in a losing AEW World Trios Title challenge against The Conglomeration.
As Los Hermanos Lee, the pair beat FTR for the AAA World Tag Team Titles in December 2022. Dragon Lee announced his WWE signing from the ring that same night, and the titles were vacated shortly after.
