WWE returned to Mexico for Monday’s RAW, and a hot topic of discussion coming out of the loaded episode is the in-ring spectacular between Chad Gable and Dragon Lee.
Gable retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship over Lee in just under 16 minutes. The crowd in Mexico met both Superstars with deserving pops and ovations.
WWE shared post-match footage of the in-ring show of respect between champion and challenger, touting it as a beautiful moment. However, that wasn’t the last moment Gable and Lee shared at Raw this week.
Gable later caught up with Lee backstage, as seen below in the footage shared by WWE on X. The longtime rivals continued praising each other, ending the moment with another embrace and handshake.

Raw in Mexico marked the third WWE TV singles outing between Gable and Lee, not including matches that saw Gable perform as El Grande Americano. Lee leads the series 2-1 after this week’s showdown.
