The Kabuki Warriors are back together, at least on camera.
Asuka posted a new video on her YouTube channel showing her first meetup with KAIRI since KAIRI’s WWE release. The video’s title translates to “I met Kairi-chan for the first time in a while.”
The reunion came around KAIRI’s birthday. Asuka wished her a happy birthday, and the two traded gifts while catching up.
KAIRI was among at least 18 talents WWE released on April 24, following WrestleMania 42. She and Asuka are former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
KAIRI has stayed busy since. She was announced on Oct. 8 for Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise, which will host a live edition of AEW Collision on Nov. 7. Reports have linked her to AEW, though no deal has been announced.
Asuka remains with WWE but has been away from television since losing to IYO SKY at Backlash. She has said she stepped away for a personal matter. On Oct. 3, she answered a fan on X who asked if she had left the company.
I haven’t left the group. I haven’t quit.
