Jacob Fatu’s absence from WWE television may be coming to an end.
Per PWInsider Elite, Fatu has been filming WWE material alongside the wrestlers expected to compete in the WarGames match at Survivor Series, and his return is described as “not far off.”
The current plan reportedly has Roman Reigns, The Usos, Fatu and Solo Sikoa teaming up against The 946 in the main WarGames bout.
Fatu hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since the September 28 episode of Raw. During a brawl between The Bloodline and The 946, he chased Royce Keys into the parking lot, where he was struck by a black sedan.
Jaida Parker stepped out of the vehicle afterward, making clear the hit was no accident. WWE then aired footage of Fatu being loaded into an ambulance, with Jimmy and Jey Uso riding along.
WWE hasn’t confirmed the plans, and creative can change quickly. If the WarGames lineup holds, though, it would put Fatu back on the card for one of the biggest matches of the fall.
