Bayley was backstage at TNA Lockdown in Chicago on Sunday, according to PWInsider, as speculation continues over her WWE future. She was there to support Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade in WWE.
Fellow TNA Knockout Jada Stone also shared a backstage photo with Bayley from the event. There is no indication Bayley appeared at Lockdown in any official capacity or was involved in the show on air.
Bayley And Adam Pearce Traded Messages On Instagram
The TNA appearance came the same weekend Bayley posted to Instagram celebrating her ten year anniversary on the WWE main roster, writing that she is “so grateful to have lived out my dreams” and that she will “continue to fight for” women’s wrestling.
Raw general manager Adam Pearce responded to the post with clapping emojis, prompting Bayley to comment, “hey let’s talk.” Pearce replied, “You know where to find me,” fueling speculation she could return to WWE television as soon as tonight’s episode of Raw in Ottawa.
Bayley has not appeared on WWE programming since losing to Lyra Valkyria on the July 18 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. Her status has been in question for weeks amid reports her contract is nearing its end.
The Pearce exchange also came the same day Bayley traded messages with Blake Monroe on X, with the SmackDown star pushing her to show up this Friday. Raw airs tonight from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa at a special 6 p.m. ET start time.
