Bayley is still very much an active member of WWE’s roster, putting to rest weeks of speculation that she had been written off television.
The former WWE Women’s Champion returned to in-ring competition at a WWE live event in Stockton, California on Saturday night, competing in a Triple Threat match against Sol Ruca and Lyra Valkyria.
The appearance is meaningful because of what came before it. At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley in a singles match, and the fallout is what really got fans talking.
Following that loss, Valkyria drove Bayley into the steel ring steps, and on the next episode of Monday Night RAW she claimed she had run the former champion out of the company.
Combined with reports that Bayley’s WWE contract situation remains uncertain, the angle led many to believe she was being written off for good. Her Stockton appearance says otherwise.
Contract Speculation
The Stockton live event appearance suggests that with time still left on her contract, Bayley continuing to work house shows shouldn’t come as a surprise.

A Decade On The Main Roster
The timing lines up with a personal milestone. Bayley has now reached 10 years as a member of WWE’s main roster, dating back to her debut at the Battleground pay-per-view on July 24, 2016. Teaming with Sasha Banks, she defeated Charlotte Flair and Dana Brooke in her first match on the flagship roster.
Her history with Valkyria has driven much of her 2026. The two teamed together in the Fatal 4-Way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42 Night 1, a match Paige and Brie Bella won when Paige pinned Alexa Bliss. Those titles have since changed hands again, with Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid taking them from Paige and Brie Bella at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The former alliance turning sour has set the stage for the current feud, and the Stockton appearance confirms Bayley is still around to see it through.
