Big E has provided an update on his brothers.
The former WWE Champion recently spoke to WWE alumni Kayla Becker for an interview with BZZR. He talked about things such as the importance of opening up about his mental health, his meditation journey and more.
During the talk, the wrestling veteran also provided an update on his former tag team partners, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, after their WWE exit in May. While Big E didn’t reveal their exact plans following their departure, he confirmed that the duo is not planning to retire from in-ring competition anytime soon:
They are doing well. They are kind of staying low and enjoying family time, right now. I want them to be able to tell their story, but obviously we’ve had a lot of discussions lately about what’s next. I don’t expect those guys to be retiring. I think they have a lot more to show.
Something To Prove: Big E
Big E said that the bond he built with Kingston and Woods is bigger than wrestling and those guys will always be his brothers. He also briefly spoke about their failed heel turn, mentioning how it has made the former champions want to prove themselves more:
We had a really impactful heel turn; the follow-up wasn’t what we envisioned it, but those guys have so much to offer. They are so talented. They are going to go out there, wherever they end up wrestling, with a big chip on their shoulders and something to prove. I’m excited for them.
The 40-year-old had recently revealed details of a bizarre New Day commercial also featuring Brodie Lee Jr. that was never released. You can check out his comments on the matter here.
