Candice Michelle Returning to TNA for 2 More Shows

Former WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle has confirmed she has an "opportunity" with TNA Wrestling and will be appearing at the company's upcoming Nashville events this week.

During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Michelle discussed her current involvement with TNA and what the future may hold for her with the promotion.

Perfect Timing for TNA Role

Michelle explained that she came into TNA not knowing how she would feel about being back in the wrestling environment, but quickly realized how much she missed being around the ring.

Perfect timing for me to come back and explore and be a part of the company," Michelle said. "I'm excited for that opportunity.

She described viewing this TNA opportunity as a platform and said she's been brainstorming how she can best serve the company.

Michelle noted she's open to working behind the scenes, in front of the camera, or "hopefully a little bit of both," leaving her exact role to be determined.

No Surrender & Television Taping Appearances

Michelle confirmed she will be with TNA on February 13 and 14 in Nashville, Tennessee. She stated she will appear at TNA No Surrender on February 13 and the TNA television taping on February 14.

"Two really great shows that will be filmed there," Michelle said of the Nashville events.

When asked how she landed the opportunity with TNA, Michelle smiled and said she would be sharing that story soon, indicating more details about her agreement or role are forthcoming.

Different Approach Than WWE

Reflecting on her WWE career, Michelle said the company originally brought her in to "pretty-up the business," while she personally aimed to become Women's Champion. In contrast, she now looks at TNA as a platform where she can contribute more broadly.

"How can I best serve the company and everyone there?" Michelle said of her current mindset, emphasizing her desire to help both the promotion and its talent whether working off-camera or on-screen.

She admitted she genuinely misses wrestling, saying that when she came to TNA and stood by the ring, it took "not even a second" for her to realize how much she missed it and how deeply wrestling still resonates with her.

Long Layoff From In-Ring Competition

Michelle has not wrestled since 2017, when she competed for the House of Hardcore promotion. That promotion is run by Tommy Dreamer, who is currently part of TNA's creative team.

Whether Michelle will actually wrestle for TNA or work in another capacity remains to be seen, but her comments suggest she's open to multiple roles within the company as she explores this new opportunity.
