In recent months, Candice Michelle has worked behind the scenes in wrestling, specifically as a producer and agent for TNA. Could a return to in-ring be in the cards for her, though? According to the former WWE Women’s Champion herself, there’s a good chance.

I think it’s coming soon,” Michelle told The Wrestling Classic in a new interview. “I started my comeback as an agent, which is really cool because I get to relearn the philosophy. I get to learn the behind the scenes. Slowly getting my feet wet a little bit, and pretty soon we’ll slide on in.

In 2019, Michelle briefly captured the WWE 24/7 Championship by pinning Kelly Kelly in a backstage segment on WWE Raw. Her last official match took place at House of Hardcore’s Blizzard Brawl event in 2017, with fellow former Women’s Champion Victoria (aka Lisa Marie Varon) as her opponent. From Michelle’s point of view, Victoria deserves the next spot in the WWE Hall of Fame.

When we came in, she helped us, she taught us, she led us,” Michelle said in reference to Victoria. “By the way, she’s one of the nicest humans on the planet, but she gave everything to the business, so she definitely deserves it.

Last month, Victoria confirmed her retirement from the squared circle. Michelle’s full-time in-ring run ended in 2009, the same year in which she departed from WWE.

Under the TNA banner, Michelle primarily focuses on the Knockouts division, which is currently led by Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside. Michelle is 47 years old.
