Chris Jericho Lands Role In Michael B. Jordan Series

ByAndrew RavensProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Chris Jericho has revealed a notable addition to his acting resume: a role in an upcoming series produced by Michael B. Jordan.

The AEW star shared the news for the first time during an interview on Close Up with Renee Paquette, though he kept the details close to the vest. “I have a really good part in a big series coming out soon that is produced by Michael B. Jordan,” Jericho said, declining to name the series or his character. Still, the mention suggests his on-screen work is expanding beyond one-off cameos.

That was not the only screen project Jericho confirmed during the conversation. He also revealed that he filmed a part on Dexter: Resurrection, an appearance that had already been partially spoiled when paparazzi photographed him during the New York City shoot. “I was just on Dexter. That was kind of released by the paparazzi on the streets of New York City. That’s coming up,” he said.

The acting gigs cap off a busy stretch for Jericho away from the ring. During his recent hiatus from AEW, he continued touring with his band Fozzy and took on additional film work, including a role in “Margo’s Go Money Troubles.” He has also completed a documentary on Vietnamese wrestling, which has a release date attached. Jericho has since made his in-ring return to AEW.
