CM Punk is still riding the high of his Chicago homecoming.
Punk teamed with Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano to beat Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Omos at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on Saturday night. The show took place at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
The Chicago native made his entrance to “This Fire Burns,” wearing his old Straight Edge Society mask and a custom poncho.
After the show, Punk shared a message to fans on his Instagram story.
I find myself overwhelmed once again. I don’t have the words to properly express what it feels like to experience such a magical night. I want you to know my gratitude knows no bounds. I am nothing without the fans.
He saved special thanks for his hometown.
Chicago, I love you. A perfect night. Cultures came together and we celebrated. One universal language: wrestling.

Oba Femi also made an appearance after the main event, confronting Omos and clotheslining him over the top rope.
