Ethan Page has a message for fans who called his Intercontinental Championship plans silly. He doesn’t care what they think.
Speaking to Soundsphere, Page addressed the reaction to his earlier comments. He had said after a match during his qualifying run that he planned to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and go after the Intercontinental title.
And I’d like to bring something to the attention of these bozos who flippantly share their opinions. I don’t care what you want.
He said his critics could never relate to his position.
You will never, have never been, or will be in my position. You don’t have the drive. You don’t have the dedication. You don’t have the motivation. You don’t have the skills. You don’t have the connections.
Page made clear the title is on his list.
Before I die, I plan on achieving all of my goals and dreams, and one of those is the Intercontinental Championship.
He closed with a jab at the people judging him.
I ask that you please keep all your opinions to yourselves on my choices because, ultimately, the only thing you’re choosing is what to order in the fast-food waiting line.
Page’s shot at the briefcase ended on the September 7 episode of Raw. Bron Breakker beat him and Rey Mysterio in a triple threat qualifier to earn a spot in the men’s ladder match. Money in the Bank takes place Oct. 10 in New Orleans.
Chad Gable holds the Intercontinental Championship after beating Penta at SummerSlam in August. Page took aim at him in the same interview.
Chad Gable’s running away from Ethan Page, and everyone’s cheering him on like he’s some kind of hero.
Page also mocked Gable for being cheered while surrounding himself with popular masked stars Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta, all of whom Gable has faced in recent months.
