Grayson Waller used the mic at an NXT live event to take aim at Zilla Fatu, addressing the rookie who cost him a shot at the NXT Championship the week before.
Fatu was not at the event, and Waller made that the center of his message, warning him to stay away from Tuesday nights going forward.
If I were you, I wouldn’t turn up. Because if you keep turning up Tuesdays in my house, trying to take my opportunities, you will be on your own. No brothers, cousins, aunties, uncles to save you from Grayson Waller taking you out in the deep waters and drowning you. So you know what you can do, sheriff? Is you can acknowledge these nuts, lad. Skip Tuesdays, go to Monday Night Raw and carry Jacob’s bags like you were born to do.
The shot traces back to Fatu’s NXT debut, when he stormed the ring during Waller’s No. 1 Contender’s Match against Cruz Montana and took both men out, leaving Tony D’Angelo without a challenger for Heatwave on August 30. Waller had already fired back at Fatu online in the hours after, and this promo extended that heat face to face in front of a live crowd.
