Jack Perry is sticking around.
There had been a lot of speculation about the future of the AEW original over the last few weeks. Reports as late as this Tuesday had noted that the young star had not signed a new deal with the company despite his contract expiring very soon.
All this changed on the Beach Break special of Dynamite. While Jack Perry did not appear in person on the show, a video package showed the 29-year-old talking about his time with the company.
The AEW star explained that he wants to live up to his potential and win the AEW World Title. Perry was then shown sitting with Tony Khan in his office, where he officially signed his new contract:
Jack Perry debuted at the first-ever Double or Nothing PPV and has been with the company ever since. Starting his career in a tag team with Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt, Perry held the AEW tag titles before moving on to singles competition. He has had runs with TNT and National Titles since then.
