Josh Alexander is back.
Tonight’s episode of Dynamite saw Darby Allin defending his TNT Championship against Mark Davis. Allin managed to retain the title after hitting a couple of Coffin Drops.
Roppongi Vice hit the ring after the bell to beat up the champ, which prompted Steve Borden to make the save. Davis then got up on the apron and it appeared that we were going to get a showdown between him and Borden.
A returning Josh Alexander, however, then appeared behind Steve. The members of the Don Callis Family then united in the ring to beat the babyfaces down, and the segment ended with Callis greeting the returning star.
The former TNA World Champion last competed during the March 22 Slam Dunk Sunday special of Collision. He teamed with El Clon and Konosuke Takeshita to unsuccessfully challenge JetSpeed & Mistico for the AEW Trios Title.
On March 27, Alexander announced that he had suffered a knee injury in the title match, which will require him to undergo surgery and keep him out of action for some time.
