WWE NXT’s Keanu Carver, whose legal name is Kevin Robertson, is under a Florida order of protection requiring him to stay away from another NXT talent who accused him of stalking and harassment, according to a POST Wrestling report by Brandon Thurston and John Pollock.
The petitioner filed in a Florida court on September 14, and a judge granted a temporary order the same day. After a September 22 hearing, the court extended it through another hearing set for October 20. Court records show Robertson asked for a continuance to obtain counsel. The order requires him to stay at least 500 feet away from the petitioner and prohibits any contact. It is a civil matter.
POST is not identifying the petitioner, and we’re following that lead.
The petition alleges the two dated and that the relationship recently ended. In the days after the breakup, Robertson allegedly made repeated unwanted visits to the petitioner’s home and placed unwanted calls, as many as 44 in one day. POST reports the 49-page filing includes screenshots of the calls and security camera stills of the alleged visits. The petitioner also alleges abusive and threatening behavior during the relationship.
The petitioner called police on September 13 after Robertson allegedly returned to the residence and refused to leave. Robertson left before officers arrived, according to the petition. A local police official told POST the case is still pending with the State Attorney’s Office, which could not say whether charges will be filed. Stalking is a criminal offense under Florida law.
Carver last appeared on NXT television on the September 8 episode and wrestled his most recent match on September 12 at an NXT house show in Lakeland, Florida. His X and Instagram accounts appear to have been deactivated.
WWE did not respond to POST’s questions about whether he is suspended, whether the company is investigating, or whether the order affects his presence at the WWE Performance Center. POST also has not received a response to requests for comment sent to Robertson.
Carver joined the NXT roster in January and knocked out Joe Hendry at NXT Revenge in April. His current status with the company is unconfirmed.
