Liv Morgan's film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo is slated for release in September 2026. The WWE superstar filmed the movie in Japan in May 2025. She is currently challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women's World Championship at WrestleMania 42.
In an interview with Director's Cut Radio, Morgan said the role will show audiences a side of her they've never seen before.
I have something on the way. Bad Lieutenant I filmed in Japan last year. It's going to hit theaters in September. I was very excited about the project. I learned a lot and I feel better after the fact having the experience.
I was lucky to be in the room with all of these incredibly talented veterans of the film industry and the WB audience is gonna see me in a way that I think perhaps they never thought they'd see me, so I'd tune in.
Principal photography for Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo took place in Tokyo. The film is directed by Takashi Miike, written by Daisuke Tengan, and stars Shun Oguri, Lily James, and Liv Morgan.
