Logan Paul Says A WWE Title Reign Is 'Inevitable'

ByAndrew RavensProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Logan Paul is convinced a WWE Championship is coming his way, and he already knows what he’ll do once he has it.

Since arriving in WWE, “The Maverick” has shared the ring in world title matches with the likes of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Roman Reigns without capturing gold. On the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul made it clear he sees a reign as a matter of when, not if, and framed it as the moment he finally gets to cut loose.

Look me in my eyes. I want you to know this. Once I really do this —- and become WWE Champion and make billions inshallah, I’m going to say and do whatever the —- I want. I’m going to be unshackled.

When co-host N3ON pushed back on how certain Paul sounded about a future title win, Paul didn’t budge, casting his WWE run as a takeover rather than a hobby.

I’m going to, bro. It’s inevitable. What am I doing here, I’m not just playing the game. I’m here to take over.

Whether the bravado is backed up remains to be seen. Paul has proven a legitimately capable in-ring performer since debuting, exceeding the expectations that come with a crossover celebrity, but he has yet to win a singles title of any kind in the company. For now, the world title talk is exactly the kind of big swing that has defined his entire WWE run.
