Logan Paul WWE Return Hits Major Roadblock

Logan Paul thought his WWE in-ring return was getting closer. A backstage conversation quickly set him straight.

Paul recently described himself as “semi-cleared” following triceps surgery earlier this year, sidelined since tearing the muscle at Saturday Night’s Main Event. But footage from his latest vlog shows the reality is more complicated.

Before Paul even crossed paths with him, someone warned Paul that longtime producer Michael Hayes had been cautioning people backstage not to take Paul’s own comments about his medical status at face value.

When Paul later found Hayes and asked him directly about it, Hayes didn’t soften the message. He confirmed Paul isn’t cleared and won’t be until at least November.

Paul pushed back, but Hayes made clear the timeline wasn’t his opinion; it came from Bruce Prichard and Triple H after they consulted WWE’s medical staff.

Bro, you’re looking bigger than ever. Last night in rehearsal, Michael Hayes is like, ‘No matter what Logan says, he is not clear.’”

“What the f? I’m not secretly entering, bro. I want to f*** wrestle, bro. I’m tired of being sidelined.

Paul, clearly frustrated, questioned what authority either of them had to weigh in on his tricep specifically, to which Hayes simply noted they were just relaying what the medical team had told them.

You’re not. You’re not cleared till at least November.

Despite Paul’s frustration and his own sense that his recovery has been progressing well, he has said he has recently been able to start throwing clotheslines again. It looks like fans may need to wait until November at the earliest before he’s actually cleared for in-ring competition.
