The January 15 edition of WWE NXT may not mark the last appearance of TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich on the brand. During the episode, Slamovich, who captured the title by defeating Jordynne Grace at October's Bound For Glory, was seen in the crowd ahead of Cora Jade's match against Kelani Jordan.
After the show, WWE's cameras caught Slamovich in conversation with NXT head Shawn Michaels. Slamovich expressed her gratitude for the invitation and hinted that a return to NXT could involve stepping into the ring.
I said that I was going to bring this title around the world and find the best people to defend it, and so far, I like what I see.

Michaels responded by saying that he's only a phone call away, teasing that fans could see much more of Slamovich in WWE. On X, Slamovich continued to suggest that her appearance wasn't a one-off with a heated interaction with Cora Jade.

Slamovich's appearance is the latest example of the talent-exchange between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling. In 2024, several stars crossed the line, including Jordynne Grace. Grace not only competed for the NXT Women’s Title but also defended the TNA Knockouts World Championship on the September 10 edition of WWE NXT against Sol Ruca.
