In 2021, Nia Jax was released from WWE, despite being one of the most high-profile women on the roster before her exit. On a recent edition of the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Nia shared how she struggled following losing her job.
“I’m not gonna lie, I crumbled a little bit. I was sad, I ate a lot of food to comfort my sadness.\
After a period of time wallowing, Jax realized that she needed to work on herself. The Irresistable Force admitted that focusing on her own personal growth was something she\'d put off off to focus on work.
\"I lost who I was. You know, I got caught up in the business, I got caught up in dumb stuff that sometimes you do get caught up in this business, like winning and losing and booking and whatever.\
Jax\'s journey of self-discovery wasn\'t one she took alone, as she had the help of a life coach called Carrie. This life coach was introduced to Jax by Nikki Bella and proved pivotal in helping Jax learn to be herself outside of wrestling.
\"I remember just having these really great sessions with Carrie and really diving into myself again, figuring out what makes me, me, and what made me happy again, because I was losing my happiness.\
Jax has since found her way back to WWE and credited the efforts of Nikki and Carrie for helping her find her way back to the company. Jax\'s second run with WWE has seen the powerhouse win the Queen of the Ring and the WWE Women\'s Championship. With Jax now setting her sights on winning this weekend\'s Women\'s Royal Rumble, the former champion is ready to make the most of her second chance in WWE.
