No More Running: Oba Femi Once Again Calls Out Roman Reigns After MITB Victory

Oba Femi calls out Roman Reigns.

The 2026 King of the Ring winner appeared on the Money In The Bank post-show after picking up yet another big victory over ‘Big’ Bronson Reed at the PLE. The Ruler was asked if there was anyone left on the roster he had not run through after tonight.

The question prompted ‘OTC’ chants from the crowd and Oba Femi did not hesitate to acknowledge the fans. He sent a very simple message to Roman Reigns, saying, “Tribal Chief, no more running. It’s about damn time.” before concluding the segment.

Femi had originally called out The Head of The Table after his WrestleMania 42 victory over Brock Lesnar. The World Heavyweight Champion at the time had said that he will see how Oba does through the summer before deciding if he is ready to step up to the greatest of all time.

WWE had the opportunity to pit the two stars against each other after Oba Femi won the King of The Ring tournament in June. The former NXT Champion had abandoned his earned world title shot at the time in favor of a SummerSlam rematch with Lesnar.

The 2026 Crown Jewel PPV announced for November 7 from Riyadh would have been the perfect place to start the rivalry between the two. With recent missile attacks on Riyadh airport, however, it seems unlikely that the event will move forward as originally planned.
