Now a new report from Fightful Select has added another layer of excitement to it. The site is reporting that former AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla is in London ahead of Sunday’s show.
The Toxic Spider was last seen during the July 26 Revolution PPV, where Willow Nightingale beat her to become the new AEW Women’s Champion.
When Tony Khan was asked about Thekla’s status during the All In media call, the AEW President had said that she could ‘appear very soon’ without committing to a date for her return.
There is no word on what the female star could be doing if she does show up at the PPV event. Willow Nightingale is set to defend her title against Mercedes Moné at the show, and it’d provide the perfect opportunity for the former champion to make her return.
