A renowed TNA legend wouldn’t sit quietly after a fan questioned her choice to marry the love of her life.
She is none other than Gail Kim. After the recent Midterm Elections, Democrats secured control of both chambers of Congress and won other major races. Gail Kim arrived in Texas to celebrate the occasion and posted a message online.
However, one user shifted the conversation from the elections to attacks on Gail’s personal life. The former TNA Knockouts Champion is of Korean descent and married celebrity chef Robert Irvine. The fan questioned her choice to marry Irvine rather than what they described as a “Man of Culture.” In doing so, the fan called her a sellout.
“You’re a Democrat, and yet you married an Old White Man over a Man of Culture? You’re a sellout.”
However, the former WWE superstar fired right back at the netizen via her X. Gail said she had many democratic values, but that didn’t have anything to do with her choice to marry. Moreover, Kim said that she married her soulmate and her decision should not be a concern to anyone else.
“lol I hold a lot of democratic values yes and he’s 11 years older than me so I guess we are both old according to you. If being happy with your soulmate is a sellout, then I guess I am. I dont know why you’re so concerned about who I choose to marry…. Probably bc you’re a lonely loser???
Therefore, Gail Kim proved that love was beyond descent or culture, and it is not something other people should comment on.
