Kelani Jordan’s mystery challenger is still a mystery, but there’s a notable name in the building.
PWInsider reports that Paige is in Orlando, Florida, for Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT. According to WWE sources, the former AEW Women’s World Champion was brought in specifically for the show. Her exact role has not been revealed.
The timing has fans connecting the dots. Jordan retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Wren Sinclair at Halloween Havoc. Afterward, she was told she would defend the title again this week, but her opponent was not named.
The report did not confirm that Paige is the challenger, or whether she is there for something else entirely.
Paige, who wrestled as Saraya in AEW, returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42 in April and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Brie Bella. Before that return, she had teased her 2026 plans, including training to get back to “NXT Paige.”
