Tony Schiavone believes no one should use the Black Arrow again.
The AEW commentator paid tribute to Benjamin Satterley, known to fans as PAC, on his What Happened When podcast. Satterley died on September 27, one day after competing at AEW All Out. He was 40.
Schiavone said PAC’s finishing move should go with him.
I would say it’s probably time to retire the Black Arrow, that move he had. To be honest, I don’t think anybody else could ever do something like that because to me, it was maybe the greatest finishing move we had.
The Black Arrow, a corkscrew senton off the top rope, was PAC’s signature finisher throughout his AEW run.
Schiavone called PAC’s final match at All Out, where he challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship. He said he did not think there was a better athlete, adding that PAC “never gave you a bad match.”
He added that PAC will be “forever missed” not only for his work in the ring, but “because of how great a person he is and was.”
Satterley was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion and a two-time AEW World Trios Champion. Before AEW, he wrestled in WWE as Neville, where he held the NXT Championship once and the WWE Cruiserweight Championship twice.
