Blake Monroe says Triple H is personally reworking her entrance ahead of her first televised match on WWE SmackDown.
Monroe, the former Mariah May, was called up from NXT after WrestleMania 42 and turned up on the May 22 SmackDown in a backstage segment with Chelsea Green. She attacked Giulia on SmackDown the following month, but she still hasn’t wrestled a televised match on the main roster.
Speaking with The Wrestling Classic, Monroe said the presentation is getting reworked first.
I’m excited for the entrance because I think my entrance is going to change a little bit and I feel like Triple H is very good at the entrances. So, I’m excited to see what we come up with.
She described WWE’s Chief Content Officer as hands-on with her development and said she values the “advice and feedback and perspective” that comes from working with him. Monroe added that she’s always taken pride in evolving her character and sees this stretch as a chance to keep doing it.
The entrance was a signature part of her NXT run, the one that produced a reign with the NXT Women’s North American Championship after she arrived in WWE in June 2025. Whatever replaces it will show up alongside her first SmackDown match.
Why hasn’t she wrestled on the main roster yet?
Since debuting on SmackDown in June 2026 by attacking Giulia, fans have been eagerly waiting for her first televised match. Monroe has preached patience to her fanbase, explaining that “you don’t give it all away on a first date” and that good things take time to build.
She even playfully brushed off online criticism regarding her lack of ring time by tweeting, “why wrestle when i could get paid to eat donuts with a fork,” referencing her recent viral appearance on SPORTbible’s Snack Wars.
