WWE Raw Go-Home Card Sets Reigns Return, Lynch vs. Morgan

ByMike ReichlinProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Roman Reigns returns to WWE Raw on Monday, October 5 for the final show before Money in the Bank, and Adam Pearce has loaded the card. Raw streams live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

Pearce released the official preview on Sunday afternoon. It includes a number one contender’s match for the Women’s World Championship, two tag matches that preview the ladder matches, and a singles bout for Rey Fenix.

WWE Raw Match Card for October 5

Roman Reigns Appears

World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will be live in St. Louis, and Pearce says he has a lot on his mind. The list is long: LA Knight, The Bloodline and 946.

Reigns hasn’t been on Raw since September 14, when he retained against Penta in Mexico City and Knight laid him out afterward. Knight gets his World Heavyweight Championship shot at Money in the Bank on October 10. Meanwhile, 946 has spent weeks tormenting The Bloodline, including the kidnapping of Solo Sikoa.

Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan (Women’s World Championship Number One Contender’s Match)

The winner challenges Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank. Vaquer took the title from Morgan in Santiago, Chile, a finish Morgan has branded the Santiago Screwjob.

Vaquer confirmed the match on last week’s Raw. Morgan then interrupted Lynch to argue she’s been cheated and deserves the shot, and Lynch told her that should make the match easy.

Sol Ruca and Lola Vice vs. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez

This tag match doubles as a preview of the women’s ladder match, which Ruca, Vice and Perez have all qualified for. Vice beat Perez on last week’s Raw, Rodriguez came out to help Perez afterward, and Ruca made the save for Vice.

Penta and Je’Von Evans vs. Bron Breakker and Austin Theory

Penta, Evans and Breakker are all set for the men’s ladder match. Evans beat Breakker by disqualification on September 21 after Theory interfered, and Breakker took out Penta and Evans after a match on last week’s show.

Ethan Page vs. Rey Fenix

Fenix, the AAA Cruiserweight Champion, takes on Page, who moved up from NXT to the Raw roster in April. Fenix’s brother Penta beat him in the World Heavyweight Championship number one contender tournament final on August 31.
