The 40th annual Royal Rumble is set for Saturday, February 6 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, WWE announced Monday. The show will be headlined by the 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble matches, with each winner earning a championship match at WrestleMania 43.
WWE will also present a SmackDown and AAA double header the night before. Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale hosts Friday Night SmackDown and AAA Road to Rey de Reyes on Friday, February 5, with ticket details for both shows to be announced in the coming weeks.
Royal Rumble 2027 Tickets And How To Watch
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, November 18 at 12pm ET (10am MST) through SeatGeek. A general presale opens Tuesday, November 17 at the same time, and Club WWE members get first access with an exclusive presale on Monday, November 16 at 12pm ET.
VIP packages with premium seating, hospitality and meet-and-greets with WWE Superstars will be sold through On Location, TKO’s official VIP experience provider. In the U.S., the Rumble streams exclusively on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited subscribers. Internationally, it airs on Netflix.
The date matches what Fightful Select reported in October, when the Rumble was expected the weekend of February 6.
Arizona’s Third Royal Rumble
This is Arizona’s third time hosting the Rumble, following 2013 and 2019 in Phoenix. It’s the first Rumble at State Farm Stadium, which hosted WrestleMania XXVI in 2010 when it was known as University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Glendale show also brings the Rumble back to the U.S. after the 2026 edition in Riyadh, the first held outside North America, where Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan won the two Rumble matches. WrestleMania 43 heads to Riyadh in April.
The weekend is part of a seven-event, three-year agreement TKO struck in May with the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance and Legends Global, spanning UFC, WWE, PBR and Zuffa Boxing. TKO calls it its first deal with a state-level organization covering all four brands.
AAA Joins Royal Rumble Weekend
Friday’s double header puts AAA on one of WWE’s biggest weekends of the year. Rey de Reyes is one of AAA’s signature events, and the 2026 edition in Puebla, Mexico, was the first held under WWE’s ownership of the promotion. WWE has not announced a card or format for Road to Rey de Reyes.
It’s the latest AAA booking tied to a WWE tentpole. AAA Eternal Glory is already set for the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden during WrestleMania 43 weekend in New York. Before Glendale, WWE runs its eight-event Road to Royal Rumble European tour in January.
