ByNicholas WatsonProfessional Wrestling Journalist

WWE is set to present one of its Big 4 Premium Live Events, SummerSlam 2026. The two-night PLE is scheduled for August 1 and 2 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With close to three weeks left for the event as of this writing, the TKO-led company is struggling with ticket sales for the Biggest Party of the Summer.

According to WrestleTix, WWE SummerSlam 2026 has sold only 22,609 tickets for Night 1 and 23,809 for Night 2, in a stadium with 70,000 seats. This has been the case despite WWE announcing two major blockbuster matches for the Premium Live Event.

What are the potential main events for WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 and 2?

WWE has been advertising two marquee matches as the main events of SummerSlam 2026. For Night 1, the Hell in a Cell match between Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman and Oba Femi has been listed, while Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship is being advertised as the Night 2 main event.

Apart from that, another match from the women’s division was made official at Night of Champions PLE. After IYO Sky won the Queen of the Ring finals against Liv Morgan, IYO Sky chose Morgan as her SummerSlam opponent to battle for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

With some 20 days left, it is expected that WWE will announce more top-tier showdowns to move SummerSlam 2026 tickets in a major way.
