WWE’s Perth Deal May Get Much Bigger

WWE’s Perth deal might get bigger than a standard premium live event.

WrestleVotes Radio reports for Fightful Select that a source says WWE is committed to a three-year partnership with the city, with a PLE weekend planned in Perth in each of the next three years.

The same source says one of those weekends could be set aside for a major show. Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble were both floated as options. The target being discussed is 2028.

That would mean Perth landing one of WWE’s traditional big four events rather than another mid-tier PLE.

WWE announced the agreement with Tourism Western Australia in August. It runs from 2026 through 2028 and covers annual WWE Weekend Takeovers at RAC Arena. The first one is already set, with SmackDown on December 11, Wrestlepalooza: Perth on December 12 and Raw on December 14.

Perth has hosted Elimination Chamber in 2024 and Crown Jewel in 2025.
