Mercedes Mone will be defending her AEW TBS Championship against Hikaru Shida at the upcoming All Out PPV in a week’s time.
This week’s episode of Collision featured a fatal four-way match among Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, Queen Aminata, and Hikaru Shida to determine the next challenger for the former WWE star.
Shida got the upper hand early in the bout when she sent Rosa crashing into the other two women. Though she couldn’t maintain the momentum for long and Thunder Rosa came back with a chop.
This bout went on for almost 15 minutes. The ending saw Aminata turning a back body drop on Shida into a roll up to try and sneak a pin. The Japanese star countered with a forearm and an enzuiguri. She then followed it up with a Katana for the win.
