TNA announced via social media that the company’s longtime Executive Vice President Andy Barton has parted ways with the promotion.
Barton worked alongside TNA President Dixie Carter at her management/marketing company Trifecta Entertainment from 1996 to 2002 and then moved on to work for her in TNA.
TNA issued the following statement regarding the departure:
“We wish TNA executive Andy Barton all the best as he pursues a new opportunity. Glad to have CSO Eric Sherman on board as we look to build on our powerful global brand, continue our rapid international growth and expand onto emerging platforms.”
